Same here, friend is one of them and said cheltenham too.
Nichols would have to be a proper penis if he didn't let an "owners group horse" like this run at Cheltenham.
Fair few of them would be queuing up to give him a slap I reckon.
Yes, very clear. Also confirmed he doesn't go for the Betfair.
Thanks.
I do own a share in Stage Star and whilst I have been "thinking" Ballymore for months, none of the communications from Owners Group have been so definitive.
They are always cautious with the info that they give out.
Anyone "Knowing" that it's been Cheltenham for months has only been "assuming" (as I have) that he will follow the Bravemansgame route.
I'm taking it as a negative for Geri Ballymore bets and a negative for Journey With Me AB bets. So not great for me!
Agree with the Gerri Ballymore, but wholly disagree with the JWM AB bets.
JWM goes for the 2m6f Grade 1 at DRF. In the last four years, taking the first four horses home (total 16 horses), 10 went to Albert Bartlett, 3 didn't go to festival, 2 Bally, 1 Pipe - unless I've screwed up my maths, which is definitely possible! I'm comfortable with JWMs currently intended target destination. Less so with GC.

A lot of people on here seem to be deciding where Journey With Me ends up based on where Gerri Colombe might end up.
Gerri won't affect where Journey With Me ends up. Robcour have them with different trainers. I'm not having that the owners decide where they run. They'll leave it down to Henry & Gordon and if they clash so be it. Bit different if say Grand Jury was entered up in the Bartlett, who is also trained by Henry, but I can't see that happening.

If he goes DRF that is. The ground will be a concern....... again!
Sir G does seem very popular for this at the moment. Seems crazy backing him at these sort of prices to me. Surely he wins at DRF and supreme seems most likely. He's beaten at DRF and probably drifts for this anyway (possibly depending on how badly he's beaten but hard to see him shortening much from 4/1, even with a narrow defeat at DRF).
