However if 500kg of horse is coming down on one hoof at a time in gallop is a lot of force through each hoof/limb. It’s like you having a crack at the base of your finger/toe nail then trying to running around on it.

Connections of JWM might want to avoid DD after that spectacular performance that's all.................plus it's my pocket talking. I don't want all my best horses in the same race

      • Rewatched DD race quite a few times now very impressive what I noticed was Townsend checks back coming over the second last and is easy on him to the line think there’s plenty left in him if they decide to go up in trip! I hope they do pocket talking

His chance of winning a supreme couldn’t be much more than 25-30%. He’d be odds on in the Ballymore.
Odds on DD for Ballymore ??? Seriously ??

Against JWM, Ginto etc you’d have a 2m Grade 2 winner odds on ?

JWM won’t go, dysart Dynamo would be odds on against Ginto (Will he even go if hollow games gets well beat at DRF?) if the Henderson pair went supreme

            • JWM drift again for this race with PP/BF

So many people thinking he goes here but I just can't see it myself, especially with the racing managers updates aswell.

              • I like most only backed DD in the Ballymore so if he goes the Supreme then my multiples are in the bin, the only crumb of comfort is that Willie has said before that he would send his horse to the race that he or she had the best chance of winning. So currently that's the Ballymore so here's hoping.

Madmoose was very informative with target for JWM weeks ago, win lose or draw his input was/is of huge value and I know I won't be the only one who is very grateful...

Hiya Big Bucks: My take is that Henry probably sees JWM as a Bartlett horse anyway.

But the point I was trying to make was that if he was just a little bit tempted to go Ballymore and saw DD was going to be in the line-up too I reckon that would tip the scales back to the AB.

Hopefully it’s still the case for him in the AB, hoping because his form was boosted today they don’t think he was quicker than Minella Crooner so persist with middle distance.

He and Grand Jury both entered in the 2m6f at the DRF so it will be interesting if both are declared or just one.

Seriously if you think DD is an odds on Ballymore shot this place isn’t for me. He’s over 7-1 on Betfair you should be piling on and loading up because I wouldn’t go near him at anything less than 2-1 on the day even if he ran in the Ballymore. He runs free, has never run LH and never been over further than 2m 2f in his career and you have him similar to previous festival winners like Honeysuckle, Ferny Hollow and Bob Olinger who will be odds on. I’d be fairly sure Constitution Hill would be shorter if they both ran.
The race yesterday fell to bits. Guily Billy ran shocking. The second horse was looking for a handicap mark. His stable mate pulled like stink and then uprooted the third hurdle. His time was decent but he beat very little in reality.
Dysart Dynamo is a good horse he has done nothing to warrant being anywhere near an odds on shot in a Ballymore in my eyes.
he may run in the Ballymore and be odds on and win. He wouldn’t be carrying my cash at odds like that.

I totally agree, but the first sentence is a little bit dramatic !
That sort of attitude ends up with World Wars.
Surely you understand that in a community of people, there will be some that say things you don't agree with ?
Cos if you think what ToniC said is preposterous then you ain't seen nothing yet.

I’m talking on the day, the price now obviously factors in a huge amount of doubt around his target

I’ll have to disagree amicably. Odds on even on the day would be a horrendous price unless he runs again.

                              • I feel like the debate of “where does DD end up” is going to go right on up until declaration day without a hint of information
