Am big fan of scenario-type doubles....and luckily already have the Dysart/Sir G option covered at nice price.....and given chaos in these two markets, have added your shout...thx!Fat Jockey Patron (est. Jan 2021)

Dysart - we've seen the performance, got the political answer from the jockey, but has Mullins been quoted anywhere yet?
All we have left is to get the view of the time boys.
I'll have to watch it again. He didn't appear as fluid a jumper over the hurdles, but like GDC, was able to use his engine to get a lead, maintain it, and not stop at the business end. That engine and getting a lead might be of more help in a Ballymore, than the Supreme.
As said above, we need to see what sort of performance SG puts in at the DRF.

The likes of Galopin Des Champs over fences at Christmas and now today, Dysart Dynamo, will surely put others off, lining up against them. Might be particularly small fields for both the old RSA and the Ballymore, if DD goes there, with connections seeing the National Hunt Chase and the Albert Bartlett as easier options?
GDC and DD are the two standout performances from novices this year.
I know people are talking about the Supreme but that betting drift last week, for the Supreme for DD, while its price for the Ballymore, came in. I wonder how telling that was.............or not?

…..for the sake of the July Saxon Warrior forum Yankee, let’s hope he comes here and the race in an hour or so pans out;
Dysart (Bally) 25-1, State Man (Sup) 33-1; GDC (RSA) 8-1; Capo (NHC) 20-1

Think paddy's now shorter also.
Still a lot of shit to happen but if Willie's interviewed later I'd be surprised if he's not more of a supreme favourer.

A lot weighs on how Sir Gerhard does in the DRF but after calming down, having a walk and a cigarette I'm confident Dysart comes here.
First things first, his owners are very small time and they'll take any Cheltenham win. The Ballymore is clearly the softer of the two and Willie like all trainers will want to appease his owners. Compare that to Cheveley Park whose colours have dominated Cheltenham races in recent years and have already won this race with Envoi Allen.
The Gold Cup is obviously the big fish for Thompson but the Supreme is one of the most famous races in racing and as we know he doesn't really care for NH now that his father has passed away so he's probably looking for big wins rather than any win at all, especially as he's been there done that with Envoi which was spine tingling. Coupled with that, Thompson has said Sir Gerhard will run in the Supreme most likely.
Obviously if Sir Gerhard gets done for toe in Dublin all of the above might be completely irrelevant but I think even if Sir Gerhard loses, as long as he's there abouts he goes on the Tuesday and Dysart goes on the Wednesday.

Dysart Dynamo Supreme
Sir Gerhard Ballymore
related double now pays 44.5/1
definitely worth a play imo
already have singles on Sir G in Sup and DD in the Bally, so it seemed a sensible play

Think the prices shortly after the race have to be taken with a pinch of salt with a view to what his likely target is.
A lot of the money going down will be people covering after backing him for the Ballymore. If he was Willie's number 1 dart at the Supreme (I'm not saying he's not) then you'd expect the stable money to be down before the race, not after.
It hinges on Sir Gerhard at the DRF now, I still can't see Willie throwing him and DD at the Supreme when the Ballymore is wide open. And generally speaking, Willie's number one for the Supreme runs at the DRF (which DD still could).
