Really. I thought Ginto was really impressive.

    • That was class from Ginto. From looking a flop as a bumper horse he looks like he could become a grade 1 centrepiece for years to come. Tank of a horse with plenty ability.

      • Love how Ginto just pops his hurdles, cracking race. Grand Jury stayed and battled on nicely too.

        • Does that just mean Ginto to Ballymore and Hollow Games to AB? Or is that too simple?

          • Dysart Dynamo and Gerri Colombe are the two I like most for this race currently, but very happy to have Ginto covered after that run. Perfect result with Hollow Games to the Albert Bartlett.

            • Couldnt have worked out any better for the Bartlett backers of Journey With Me and Hollow Games.

              Ginto to the Ballymore, now?

Whatdeawant - I am still perplexed as to why he was Willie's only runner in todays Grade 1.

Must be down to the delayed start for the stable, and only getting going over Christmas with his better novice hurdlers, and also his owner wanting him to be a Ballymore horse.

                That's how I'm reading it.

                • I was impressed and have taken the plunge, Ginto @ 7/1

                  • Well that couldn't have gone much better. Ginto gotta be Ballymore, HG & Churchstone spud race.

                    • Pretty pleased with that, hopefully opens up my Ginto/Ballymore & JWM & HG/Albert Bartlett doubles.

Fine ride from Jack, and Ginto showed a lot more than I expected. Nothing special from Hollow Games, didn’t show the speed that Gordon had mentioned he had, so hopefully will lead to a step up in trip.

Yep and probably splits the 2 Robcour ones with Henry too.

                        • Hoping today's result is of benefit to the Dysart Dynamo>Ballymore and Hollow Games>AB backers......

FWIW, i can't warm to Ginto, not sure what it is. Did it decent today though.

                          • Ginto still 7 & 8, suprised he hasn't gone fav.

                            • To go off in front from the start in a G1 and repel all challenges, takes so doing. Ginto to the Ballymore as a live contender. Journey With Me and Dysart Dynamo to play their cards as well as Gerri Colombe.

Whatdeawant's slip at such crucial time didn't help. If the books push it out, might be some Mullins value here.

It took me a while to get over the price tag followed by that bumper loss. But he does look very good.
