It could be a better race than the 2M Christmas Novice Hurdle.
    Beat me to it

      Would the trip suit?
We've always thought he would be better over 3 miles but he is not totally short of speed. It will be good to see where we are - we're pretty relaxed this season. He will be a better chaser,we think

I can see why you're tempted Paul. There aren't too many of these kind of races to target, and this is a Christmas feature race that looks as though it might suit. You'll know where you can set your sights after it too.

I wish you well, and I hope he can take you to take you to end of season the Festivals.

            • 12/1 won't hold

              Edit: nope, 9/1 now

                …still 12-1 Lads (without boost).

                (Edit: 10-1 now).

                • Anyone else think that Willie is more likely to run whatdeawant and possibly statuaire here and leave DD for the Moscow flyer? Just trying to think what else Willie has for that race.

                    • Asked Patrick on Dysart... says Naas was always the plan so much for Ruby and someone missing an entry!

'Dysart as good as any of them' ...

May well do. Not sure when entries for that are out

It's not an Early Closing race so entries on 11/1 (race is 16/1)

                            • Is Surrey Quest a potential Henderson one for this? Won a hurdle last month and has two entries next week, one over 2m, another over 2m3. Only priced up for this with Bet 365 at 50/1. Haven't seen much mention of him so maybe not much expected, but might be one to keep an eye on.

Nicky seemed quite excited about him in his stable tours, but he's like that about most of them.

                              • *Haven't actually backed either of these for this race but worth mentioning*

Two horses I think might be worth getting on to the anyrace market, Govan (20/1 Will Hill), runs against Sir Gerhard today in a 2m maiden, by Poligote so potentially his best work would come at 2m4f. I've elected to go any race incase he's more a Martin Pipe type as opposed to the Ballymore.

The other is Freedom to Dream, have a look at the horse. It was beaten my Appreciate It in a bumper, it has since come back off a 2 year lay off and won first time out. It runs in the all important Albert Bartlett trial race according to the Irish race planner. 33/1 currently available, the horse certainly hasn't got 2m pace so your gambling Ballymore/MP/AB but as a betting man I'd say AB.
