Yeah I agree, though there are plenty of Potato race types entered too.
Didn't Mullins run Blue Lord in the race last year en route to a Supreme ?

Just checked and yes he did so maybe not that much of a concern.

Regardless, if I was making a book, I'd do as Lobos suggested and try to back him for both with cashout. Alas, I don't have the funds to make a book approach worthwhile so I'll just be sitting back and watching you guys have all the fun if he wins either race!

I can't imagine State Man will run. It is of course a guess, but Willie has 8 entered currently, and I imagine many of them will be suited by 2m this season rather than the step up in trip.

With the Lawlors stat and the horses mostly going onto the Ballymore, what do the many Journey With Me Albert backers think?

Interestingly, only two of Willies horses entered in the Lawlors Of Naas are not entered up over 2m at Christmas, they are Dysart Dynamo and Statuaire. Make of it what you will, but to me it's a little pointer in the right direction of Dysart Dynamo being his Ballymore horse. Of course it could just be my pocket bias talking

I'm going to be really disrespectful and dismiss Statuaire, as I can't recall Willie sending a mare to the Ballymore, and she seemed to fall in to win the Royal Bond.

I'm thinking he won't run in it

He has no entries currently, so say he even ran the latter part of next week that's then only 2 and bit weeks to recover for the race, and for me he's not going straight to the race with a run first.

I'm surprised he's even entered as I can't see him doing anything other than go the Minella Indo route of Xmas maiden now, which gives no time before the Lawlors. Surely they wouldn't start him off in a Grade 1... unless he's that good (and therefore nailed to win the AB)

You could say that about the majority of Gordon & Willie's entries in the race. Same owner has Grand Jury entered as well. They won't both run, so why enter?

This race falls just right for Dysart Dynamo, I’d be confident he will run here and a win should firmly set him on the Ballymore track. Holds no Xmas entry, had an easy race winning without ever being asked to do anything, 4 weeks exactly from that until this race and then just over a month until the golden cygnet at the DRF.

Slightly shorter to back for the supreme on the exchange than this but hoping there’s nothing to worry about there.
