Is the Lawlors normally associated with Ballymore types SW?

Ah fair enough, didn't realise. I know a few are unable to use 365 which is far from ideal.

I liked Dysart Dynamo prior to his debut over the weekend and Largy Debut done it in a slightly quicker time the race before, albeit pushed a little bit more to do so than Dysart Dynamo was. I can't back one without the other, given the clock times were in the same ball park. Also, whilst not a guarantee, as they are different owners, it would lead me to think Henry wouldn't want two good horses in the same race, so I'd be more hopeful Journey With Me ends up in the Bartlett, though this is purely a logical guess rather than anything concrete.

Sorry, I'm not SW, but whilst I'm here, the last two winners of the Lawlors have won the Ballymore, in Bob Olinger & Envoi Allen, the previous winner, Battleoverdoyen, was pulled up in the Ballymore and the winner prior to him, Next Destination, finished 3rd in the Ballymore.

Recency bias would show it to be a fair trial.

Thanks COD. Very helpful. We could get some good clues for the Ballymore then !

              • I do like Naas as a track when looking at Cheltenham as its left handed with a stiff finish and if they finish well in the Lawlors, you can trust they won't find the hill at Cheltenham too much of a problem.

Yeah, for sure. I'm hoping Dysart Dynamo gets an entry, personally.

Absolutely with you on this DS - Naas form is a huge plus for the Festival but Kempton form can be taken with a pinch of salt!

I fairly roughly looked at the times COD and the LD/Kilcruit race was about 2/3seconds quicker from 1st hurdle to 4 out, but Dysart was a couple of seconds quicker from 4 out to 1 out. LD did make a mistake at 2 out though, however you could argue DD had little competition once he'd sprung clear. They were very similar from 3 out to 1 out. So yeah differently run races and can read it a whole host of ways, which I guess is why times aren't everything but can give you a clue
