Could Nicholls do a Bravemansgame with Stage Star and actually send him to Cheltenham. He did look impressive at Chepstow the other day and does look like he will be a beast down the line (obviously as a Nicholls horse he is a future chaser). If he romps up on Friday he will be much shorter for this

He'll go for the Challow first, if he wins on Friday. Same race BMG won last year. If he was to win that, then yes, I'd expect him to go based on how he's campaigned his winners of that before.
I'd be surprised if he doesn't send a few for the novice hurdles this year - he's got an army of them, which he didn't really have last year outside of the 3 that went to the Festival.

Yes, but given the stable having Knappers Hill it's hard to know which horse will go where. Plus the Challow is just as much a trial for the Bartlett as it is the Ballymore, although Bravemansgame went there before the Ballymore.
If pushed I'd guess at Stage Star going to the Ballymore, and Knappers Hill to Aintree. That said last season Nicholls sent his best horse to the Ballymore and that is Knappers Hill.Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.

What do you think about where Mr Glass fits in Spectre or don't you have him in the same class as the two you mentioned, runs in 2m 6f novice hurdle tomorrow at Newcastle.
Do you think he could send more than one to the Challow?
With the extra 2 furlongs tomorrow suppose Mr Glass could be more of a Bartlett horse.

It's hard to get a handle on Mr Glass Joe. He ran a nice race at Chepstow and was very novicey so he's likely to improve quickly. Instinctively I think he'll end up half a level below the other two over hurdles, while still being very good himself.
I'm just thin;king about what WTL said above and I think I agree. Stage Star has been out twice now, and he's impressed me far more than Knappers Hill. I need to get the bumper form out of my mind I think.
Given Nicholls has said Challow for Stage star he's definitely thinking Ballymore for him.Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.

edit: sorry I think I’ve totally misunderstood you there . I’ve backed him for the supreme and Bally I think he’ll be Gordon’s best novice this season but couldn’t be confident on a trip. Lean supreme and don’t feel that today’s development has told me anything more in that respect.
