Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Haha, I don't think it would if it was 7-0 after the first day

      Ultima,

Could easily win the first 3 races.... favs in each at the moment...
Very good chance of that happening. Might be worth backing the Irish to win overall at 3-0 down.

        Just said that, keep up

It'd be horrible odds still I reckon.... but you never know!

To be fair I'll be there on the Tuesday so no way I'd remember to check!

Hovering over it atm. A race trend for this race and one I like as an ew flyer.

I can't see it happening, but that's because I've taken the stance that Edwardstone doesn't win the Arkle. There is nothing in the UK besides Edwardstone to take on the Irish, it leaves him and the 3-0 very vulnerable, IMO.

              Just stating a fact.

Will Ireland win more races? Be amazed if they don’t, but may be closer this year, and the grade 1’s could well be very close.

The Irish would still probably win the day 4-3

They must think a lot of him then, like it.

Think it's more that he doesn't take his racing well. Takes too much out of him.

                      • I feel like Walking On Air is the kind of horse that'll run 'well' but won't challenge the winner of the Ballymore and everyone will be pleased and talk about how good he is for next year.

He's had 1 run over obstacles against fodder (and only 2 runs under rules in total, didn't win the bumper either), then not having time to make an intended engagement so turning up after just 1 run, for Nicky Henderson, the ideal profile for winning this race?

Nicky's only won the race once, with a bit of a star, Simonsig, who had about 8 runs in his career prior, including 3 that season.

Nothing about the horse screams winner, apart from chatter.

                        Avoid, all day long, avoid.

If he wins and bolts up, you can be safe in the knowledge that at single figures, he was an absolute anomoly and then celebrate him for the rest of time as a horse you got wrong.

The lucky 40/1 slip holders... clearly will be happy for him to go and take his chance....

                        • He would need to be a superstar turning up after a maiden hurdle win vs potentially Ginto, SirG or DD.

Huge negative and although I have a 20/1 slip for him I wouldn’t even back him if offered that again now off one run.

                          • Will get a little bit of a formline with Walking on Air tomorrow through hecouldbetheone whom WOA beat 13L getting 7lb and then Hecouldbetheone bolted up on his next start (albeit a dogshit race)

If hecouldbetheone runs a nice race tomorrow, it will be a little positive for WOA backers (myself included )

I'm actually sticking my neck out on the line as one who likes him alot and going as far as saying I think he will win the Ballymore IF Sir Gerhard doesn't turn up here.

Loved his attitude and professionalism on his debut and Giddy Nicky has put in the same potential bracket as Jonbon and Constitution Hill.

I don't fancy him at all but I'll buy your 20/1 slip off you.....

Yep, I’ve been looking for a horse (or two)to back in this race away from the imo not very impressive same old Irish form I’ve been watching, and quiet happy to have him and Stage Star .
Just need to see neither SG or DD turn up!!
