This year he's off 158.
The normal M.O. for the stable is to hit the Irish National with some novices with good lower marks that can't get into the Grand National.
Then the next year, if they have higher marks 146+ they go to the Grand National.
Braeside and Run Wild Fred are the next in that line for Aintree.
The way Gordon spoke effusively about them and their GB marks at the Aintree weights day on Tuesday, then their not going to Fairyhouse; they're going to Aintree.
The only one going to Fairyhouse for Gordon with a NHC entry would be Frontal Assault.
If that is the plan for him then he possibly wouldn't run at Cheltenham anyway, as if he did and went up in the weights then he would carry more in the Irish National.
The Irish National weights come out after the Cheltenham Festival.
Coko Beach and RWF were diverted from Cheltenham to the Irish National last year to keep their lower marks intact.

I'd be expecting a good few withdrawals on Tuesday morning.
Will be interesting to see who runs.

It's the state of the ground
Waterlogged and raining all day - how much improvement in the ground will that bring in Feb, in 2 days?
