Pat's Fancy just doesn't have the experience in this for me. Since Tiger Roll won in 2017, all the winners have had 5 plus chase runs and had all run in a graded chase. Just would put me off Pats fancy for this. Would have preferred to see him in the Ultima personally

              • So..... he must know RWF will wallop Farouk D'Alene, so doesn't need to bother running...

                • Seriously made my day this. Only think that would have made it better, would have been it being followed by ‘Jamie codd will ride’. To be fair, he’d win with Gordon himself riding

This should definitely be part of his comeback after last year, Gordy subbing Jamie off for himself and going beast mode on RWF. Imagine the roar as he flies up the hill

When the fans give it to footballers then he scores a goal and does that “shhhh” celebration with a finger on his lips..i imagine hell stand up as he crosses the line doing that to all the fans

                      • Is it just me that thinks RWF is the most hyped up horse for this? I have looked at this race in depth and I just don't the horse winning it, I was going to do Stattler a few weeks ago but waited till its next run and it did win but I just thought it doesn't look like a winner for this either. I then looked at others for this and only one I was impressed with is Jungle Boogie. I'm not worried at all it has not stepped up in trip yet I'm quite confident it will handle a step up in trip when it does have the chance. Only worry for me is the horse may need one more run. I've done a NRNB for Jungle Boogie and hoping it does come here since I can't really see what beats it. If Jungle boogie does not come here I'd be tempted to do Capodanno who think would be better at 3m. But RWF I cannot see this horse winning this, if it does win then fair enough and hold my hands up.

It doesnt look like jungle boogie will be getting qualified but i struggle to see how hed be a better candidate then a horse 159 rated over 3 miles+ also capodano isnt qualified yet, id imagine he will at some point though to give them options, but it looks like stattler is the main mullins nag for this

Is it the price putting you off?

I'm struggling to see why you "cannot see the horse winning this".

If you're making a price arguement, fair enough.

If you're saying he can't win.... I imagine people will start posting plenty of reasons why you should be able to see it.... to those people, play nicely!

To be fair as a backer I’m not entirely convinced.
I backed the horse immediately after last years festival and have been waiting for him to prove that my initial confidence wasn’t misguided, but he’s had plenty of runs and only one has screamed NH Chase winner to me and I’m fearful there are other less exposed horses who could improve past him.
I think we’ve all been trying to convince ourselves that he’s the next Galvin, I think there’s a big difference between the two…
