The latter imo. Might come too early for EB. All about next season for him.

          • OTR not classy enough for this IMO. Wouldn't be beating Stattler, RWF or even his team mate En B. Let alone Capodanno and TUFT if they turn up.

Yep. He'll need to jump like he did when winning the Munster National. The extra distance and slower pace of the NHC will help plus being in the hands of a top amateur.

              • Or ontheropes could just target the Irish or grand national

                • Run Wild Fred form boosted again today. It really looks like his to lose if he comes here. That's the big 'if' though !

Agreed. OTR, has the right level of experience for this. EB and a lot of the others mentioned don't!

RWF the only one that has a better profile than him imo.

He's run into a place in a very competitive handicap off a mark of 151 there. The highest rated horse to ever win the NHC was 152 at the time I believe. Not classy enough?

                      Absolutely an option.

Those were my exact thoughts as I saw the Cheveley Park colours creeping into camera shot at the end of the race!

Yeh - I think they should target Aintree. His jumping was absolutely awful today so at least he can walk through the national fences these days. Stamina won't be an issue, that's for sure.

I doubt he'll line up in the NHC.

The NRNB price is too close now to not switch over, or get out ... IMO.

Been backed post race so there's some interest but know what you mean. He'll need to get back to his Munster win which was very good.
