If their response is now to remove from the market while they decide whether a rumour/set of cashouts is causing them issues, that's actually quite fair as they aren't accepting/removing bets. If they then stop cashout when they put him back in the market, that's a different matter...- Left him in market but turned off cash out
- Then removed from NHC market
- Then re-added to NHC with cash out still off

Anyone who started betting before the internet (and with only audio coverage in betting shops) will find the fuss about this sort of thing overblown. You have to get your head round the fact that things like NRNB, cash out, best price guarantee etc are bonuses that can be withdrawn at any time. In the eyes of the bookies they are marketing tools pure and simple and are best ignored when deciding whether or not a horse is a 'value' bet.
Many people look on betting as a war and brag about getting one over on the bookies. They should not be surprised when bookies retaliate and/or use the nuclear option.

Bit like getting a bonus from your employer at the same time of getting your main salary cut.
Bet365 have just got smarter I reckon, and we've always known it's not guaranteed.
Just seems frustrating when they grey something for a variety of reasons and it doesn't come back. Even when the dust settles.
But they are clearly intent on avoiding the profiteering when news is leaked or announced and they aren't prepared.
It was in the punters favour in this regard for a few years.
Cash Out was and is designed to work for both parties in any case, it is not simply a tool for the punter, it can also be an effective tool for mitigation for the bookies as well.
Otherwise they could simply only ever offer the money back as an option. It's all carrot dangling and options, but they seem to be taking a lot of them away in these markets this year.
This current 'issue' looks to be more like an administration thing.
If it's policy then this may end up a good year for them but they may find next year is not as good in terms of turnover.
