Willie has left appreciate it in the arkle declarations. So until he enters horses to atleast get qualified for the race I wouldn’t read too much into the decs

But imo Unless he was a fairly likely runner in the NHC, imo he was very doubtful to be entered... and a mention of him upon entries... wouldn't be wise when 365.. have a small limit of cash outs in a short space before they suspend or remove...
And exactly as he was talked about on here, he was suspended...
as if there was no 3 mile race next, or he went straight there, it would be a pointless entry
Bet365 took all cashouts away for all 4 Novice Chases early this morning, probably until entries are released.
Must be their (new?) policy and something for us all to think about prior to next Tuesday morning, when they will do the same for the Supreme, Ballymore, Bartlett and Triumph hurdles.
From what I have seen and heard, there were a fair few cashouts for Capo before this morning, for the NHC, as some folk were concerned he wouldnt get entered today, and wanted to take a profit.
Mostly based on the fact he was entered v Bob O over the mid-trip and that messed with peoples heads that he therefore wouldnt be a 3M6F horse.
For me that entry and run were based around
* race timing after first run.
* as a winner there were no other races he could run in, in Ireland, over further than 2M4F (on Sunday) until the 3M race on 30th January
* he was good enough for Willie to run vs Bob O to see how he fared comparatively.
* it was perfect timing then, to go race again, maybe over 3M, if the trainer wanted to, and get 3 runs for experience too. (3 runs, pre-Fez, is something Stattler and En Beton would now struggle to have)
Given Willie's use of early entries, I thought it was odds-on he would get a NHC and RSA entry, but, crucially, as you've said, unless he was a fairly likely NHC runner, and now race over 3M to qualify, then there was no point entering him in the NHC.
It made sense to stay in, for me, as I got him priced up in early July for the race after completing the Willie Mullins Diary the first week of July, and highlighting him as a bet for the race.
- There was no way I could have exited bets with the thought that I was literally the first person to select and back him for the race.
I'm wedded to him in the NHC until (and unless) he doesnt get a 3M entry on his next runLast edited by Saxon Warrior; 18 January 2022, 12:03 PM."Journeys to Glory, breathing in his head".
