If OTR wins I can't see him taking on GDC. Can't see anyone taking him on for that matter !
Aye, agreed. Think even if winning today there's a good chance he still goes here. Not a usual trial for this race though by the looks of Saxon's diary.
I'm hopeful Vanillier has too much speed, with RWF staying on at the line.

Back to this race, there are too many good horses quoted at the moment, some of them have to head for the 3m race though the performance of GDC yesterday might put one of two off, some of the more lightly raced horses might be given an easy time and hope for a sub 145 mark and head for the Kim Muir, but to me there's no way all of OTR, Vanillier, RWF, Stattler and Capodanno can come here...

It's quite a conundrum now for a lot of these after what GDC did yesterday. At this stage I'd say a lot of these will still turn up here, although the 'inexplicable poor run' today will have many assuming they are going down the handicap route. By contrast, today is a Grade 1 up for grabs and not to be sniffed at.

For most of the horses running today this will probably be the best chance they ever have of winning a grade 1
