Honest Vic and Brinkley fighting out the finish earlier at Huntington over 3m. Oscar Elite emptied very quickly.

Decent debut by Brinkley, but Honest Vic was beat convincingly by Threeunderthrufive at Exeter. Still available at 16s and PN has named the race. Won't be 16s on the day if he turns up.

Brinkley has a huge frame, was very apprehensive today going around a speed course on decent(ish) ground but dug in deep. Going forward on big galloping courses he’s exciting, he could end up here but with races like the Reynolds town a potential target I’ve been stung before backing horses for this that have really tough races a few weeks prior at Ascot.

The drift from 365 was lovely. 12's is probably still fair, especially as he is the most likely of Willie's to run in the race given we haven't seen any other potential staying chasers from him yet.

Going to wave the flag for Stattler. Never thought I'd say that this season.

How was that the same horse as last season? He actually showed a gear at the end aswell.
Looked very classy to me, I can't quite see him going RSA, but obviously it's an option, I'd imagine if GDC and GDM disappoint it's an option. He's got the right colours aswell which is reassuring in regards to race target. Really didn't expect to see such a smooth and professional performance from him. Considering the 'trip was everything' in Willie's comments, he's become a serious player in this IMO.

Into joint favourite with RWF at 5s. Crap price but realistically is there more than 1 better than him?
