Appears to be a trip way too sharp for him.
Hope this isn’t the start of a Kim Muir part 2 plot…
They’re dreaming after coming second in the national gb handicapper will never wear it surely Gordon knows that though? Could be thinking another stab at the national as handicapper here may be more sympathetic to a few poor runs but hopefully it’s just a fitness run before Cheltenham in a couple of weeks!
I think if he’s not entered at Cheltenham in a couple weeks it might be worth looking to get out before it’s lost. Even more so with Gordon name checking the race for The Bosses Oscar.
He did run with a couple quick turnarounds last year, actually very similar to what it would be this year on season return. 2 runs in October then a third middle of November.
Reckon Gordon will protect his mark for a tilt at the Grand National. He’s guaranteed to get in and will have the perfect weight (around 10st 7lbs max) as things stand.

This is definitely my thought process. I've also got it lingering in the back of my mind in a negative way just how long PP kept him at a standout 20/1 for this race...

This is my opinion too. Gordon may well have already blown Galvin's mark, but Run Wild Fred is also on a very good mark and he'll want to us it at some point. RWF can still run in the NH Chase and not impact his mark for April.
Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.
