Streets Of Doyen would be an interesting one for here.

Streets Of Doyen screams handicap to me.
I don't think he's at the level required for this race, and also struggle to see him staying the trip, despite the impression he sometimes give during his races.
I think it's clever from John McConnell to get him over here early in the season for a second time (or at least have the entry), possibly look exposed as a chaser, he'll know where he stands with his mark too.

What do we make of fancy foundations entry?
He’s name checked the race for TBO although he’s missing a couple of Elliott trends for the race but has the course experience. Run Wild Fred doesn’t have Cheltenham experience but is a second season novice with plenty Chase runs.
I think FF’s entry could be to get early season cheltenham form seen as he hasn’t ran at the course before, was it not injury that ruled him out this year for the Martin Pipe?
Hes 137 Irish rating so a semi-poor run into 3rd/4th could see him have a nice mark with a view to the kim Muir? 4 chase runs by end of October, 7 going 8 as well.

That would have stood the test of time! I love the Cheltenham experience angle here and it rings true so often. I actually went round Cheltenham on a golf buggy the other day to look at the course and it really does make you appreciate why good experience at Cheltenham is so important, because its such a unique undulating course.

I think he is bound to be on the reserve/considered list for the NH chase and the mark is perfect for the Kim Muir, so it may be a case of who is fit and well near the time, and ground and usual stuff.
I've covered him for this as 33-1 is fine for an Elliot horse.
Run Wild Fred seems an obvious choice but Gordon has not gifted us with an entry here so we will have to sit it out for his potential participation, and the nob-eds might have their say, so Gordon may not be able to commit him this far out, cos of them two.
I've covered Bosses Oscar but his lack of experience concerns me.

The staying novice chasers that I believe he has this year are:
Run Wild Fred
The Bosses Oscar
Fakeira
Fury Road
Farouk d'Alene
Grand Paradis
Gars de Sceaux
Torygraph
Fancy Foundations
And that's just the ones of the top of my head
If I was to guess what they'll do they would be:
Run Wild Fred - All depends if Gordon feels like he's blown his mark now. If so then NHC would be best for him or he'll stick to Irish handicaps
The Bosses Oscar - NHC
Fakeira - NHC/Ireland
Fury Road - If he shows how good he looked the other year in the Albert Bartlett then 'RSA' if not maybe Irish Handicaps
Farouk d'Alene - Irish Handicaps (Mainly on right handed tracks)
Grand Paradis - Marsh
Gars de Sceaux - 'RSA'
Torygraph - Ireland??
Fancy Foundations - Cheltenham somewhere (Kim Muir as previously mentioned would be ideal if he can keep his mark down)

I would say turning up at Cheltenham during the season is definetly a bigg pointer though that that horse could be going the festival.

A stiff fence has less give in it, hence why they're harder for horses to jump (e.g., in the GN now they use softer cores instead of the former more rigid timber). Tight refers to tight bends. Leopardstown inner track is a much tighter track than Punchestown which is why jockeys will often say Leopardstown suits speedier more nimble horses. A galloping track has wider turns and bigger sweeping bends. Cheltenham is a galloping track with a stiff uphill finish.

TBO and RWF are too highly handicapped imo for anything other than the NHC or not turning up to the festival.
Even a couple poor runs by RWF I’d struggle to see him get low enough Irish mark to make the Kim Muir when the UK capper hits him.
Fakeira has run over shorter so could easily go for the plate Friday if managing the mark I’d say.
