I mean, look at Carefully Selected!

    What’s happened to him btw?!
No idea. I will find from PM what the plan is the 4 miler, I'll update accordingly.

He could have a shortlist of those that could go that way.
And who he would favour, at this point.
      Fingers crossed

      • Does He Know looks a real stayer. The problem is he's a bit of a pony. Small and light framed, and he lacks scope. His jumping was scratchy and messy yesterday. I won't discount him, but I don't see him winning an Ultima if his jumping doesn't improve significantly. They go quick in that, and whilst his stamina would be useful, he can't afford to make the multiple mistakes he made yesterday because he'll keep getting shuffled back in a race where you have to be handy. I also think there will be a few too good in the National Hunt Chase, but on the plus side they tend to go much slower which would give him time to recover if he's not fluent.

        • Still not feeling TBO for this. Tidy enough round of jumping but that's about it.

          • jumping much better today , stayed on well enough in 3rd , if Gordon is just getting miles on the clock , prior to the big effort in March , i'm fine with that

            • Cashed 16s for money back. Will keep my 33s. Think there is a few ahead of him who likely end up in this race atm (imo)

              • Re tbo Is talk of this race just a smokescreen for a low hcap mark and being aimed at the Irish national instead?

                • They seemed to go quite slow there and sprint for him

TBO just looked too slow for 2m6f

Jumped well not overly dissapointed, didnt want him to hack up because then he may become an RSA horse

….TBO out to 33-1 for this.

Yep, PP very slow to react and got my stake back on my 16s ticket.

Thats exactly what's required. Doesn't need to win now.

                        • Have only backed TBO in the any race market so far.

If he's entered into a 2m7f+ race which will qualify him (I think), then I'd take the 33/1 for this.

Looks like he'll stay and stay but will be vulnerable to anything with a finishing kick, not sure if there's many with that over the NHC distance.

Just watched it back, my thoughts exactly. Obviously a win would have been nice, but his jumping was pretty much foot perfect. Jumping was definitely the issue on debut and he’s put question marks I had about that truly to bed, which is good.

I've cashed and would do this also.
any race looks correct as he could end up handicapping again, hurdles or chases IMO.

Im only on the TWAR market as well and think the 14's is the way to go and covers all angles. No need to sweat over cashing out. Just watch it all unfold.
