        More likely if mark ok.
Lot of these novices would be considered for both races.
Pretty sure Ravenhill was booked for the Kim Muir till the FAV got injured.

Won that off 131 needed a rise to guarantee a run, should be perfect after that

            Yes,

All we need to do is check the BHA mark on Monday, to determine any Kim Muir rating question mark.

            • bear in mind JG claims 3lb , the effective mark today was 128 , needs to get 5 lbs to be practically assured of getting in , do we think the handicapper will wallop him for beating a 137 rated horse a head getting 9lbs , any more than 5lbs would be rough even on an Irish / Elliot horse

Finished ten lengths clear of anything else, at least when the new mark comes out, it'll set the standard of how harsh they'll be with Irish horses' ratings for anything else going forward.

                • The handicapper will take no notice of the conditional allowance and neither should he.

                  • Does he know could be a possible runner here, qualified now after today . Course experience and 2 early season runs under his belt. Worse 33/1 shots out there

I think he would have won anyway, seemed to get stronger at the end of the race, marathon trip could suit.

not sure, i backed him today and was thinking he looked in trouble until the other horse fancied a face full of barrier! It was the same lasy year with this horse he looked a goodun early on but started to find others stronger as the season went on, 2 wins now may put him on not the best handicap mark either? Hes just not for me for anything going forward

                              This.

In both races so far this NH season you could be forgiven for thinking he is struggling but finishes both times with a flourish. Obviously the other horse today would have been a lot closer had he not crashed into the rails but I still thinking DHK would have seen him off comfortably by the end of the race either way.

Can understand why PM winds people up publicly because he's so non comital, but privately his views are generally mustard. I've asked (through a mutual friend) re pecking order of Willies in races with lots of runners multiple times and I can't remember him being wrong once (was seldom the shortest price either).
Absolutely. Paddy loves what he thinks is a sure thing in the Almost 4 Miler.
