I think so too. I guess though its a vote of confidence in SWIW from Mullins if Echoes looks pointed at CH and Concertista and Gauloise go over fences?

      Kind of.
Although I'd be sure Willie would have no problem dropping any of his mares into this race even if they've been chasing all season.

You'd be mad to be backing Shewearsitwell now if you haven't already done so given her situation, just coming back from a setback and hasn't been seen for a full season.

Would definitely be holding off until you see an entry.

            'SHEWEARSITWELL

She’s back and going well. She’s good and strong and will probably go down the mares’ hurdle route as well'

No mention of any set back and some vote of confidence that she's being aimed here although 'probably' could mean anything. If Concertista and Gauloise are out of the picture, you'd have to think she's Willie's one for this race. Yes, that entry will give us some clarity.

Yeah I'm delighted with it. Pretty much all in on SWIW. She must be flying.

SWIW did have an issue but that was last season. Trap 5 on here has already said she was ok and back in work some time ago.

                  You’re right there.

Vroum Vrooum Mag and Benie had spells chasing but still ran here.

If he needs one for this race, he will switch one back, I feel sure of that.

She had a good summer on the Flat in France and ran a cracker in the Cesarewitch when just unfortunate to meet a Nicky Henderson special in Buzz. Even though she won the Triumph Hurdle, jumping hasn't always been her forte and we'll maybe be looking for mares' races over a longer trip where she'd be able to handle hurdles better.

She's a nice, strong mare and I had high hopes for her last season. She won well at Thurles early in the campaign but disappointed me a little in the spring before coming back and winning well at Punchestown. I must have a word with Kenny Alexander as to whether he'd like to go chasing with her – it might be the thing to do but no firm plan has been made yet.

I wouldn't say going novice chasing is set in stone based on these comments. Hold onto those Mares Hurdle tickets!

                      • It's nearly November and we're meant to believe he hasn't a word with the owner over what route she'll take, aye ok then ffs...

                        • Surprised to see TMSG holding at 8/1 when Concertista is confirmed as chasing, and Black Tears is confirmed as retired. Might back SWIW @ 10/1 to have these two covered. EIR doesn't worry me too much.

I had her successfully backed a couple of times after her return to Willie earlier in the year, so I'd normally be sentimental enough to have her in my Cheltenham bets on the back of that but I just think there'll be one or two that'll be too good for her. Cheltenham doesn't appear to be her track, for winning purposes anyway.
