Your favourite nutjob of a horse and mine is out to play tomorrow. 33/1 for this so we'll see how he goes. He is nothing if not entertainment....

I really think he needs testing ground, mainly because he goes well in it whilst other dont

Not sure what to make of that from the 4yo. Teahupoo seemed to have a lot in hand. Quilixios looked ever so rusty. Jeff Kidder never in it and drifted significantly pre race indicating something may have been up …

Quilixios pushed out to 33/1 reflecting his performance

impressed with tahupoo, travelled into the race really well, jumped well. got to improve again obviously. But couldn't have asked for a more promising run. I imagine they just send Quilixous chasing now. I'm sure henry wants to go chasing but connections opted to stay hurdling.

Im a big admirer of teahupoo, Gordon remarked last season that he thinks he's an out an out 3miler, i had him pencilled in for a potential pertemps or stayers campaign i think he'll go up in trip now though anyway, abything over 2m"s is surely a bonus.

I think the market vibes had it right about how straight Teahupoo and Quilixios were for their seasonal debuts. Teahupoo shortened noticeably, and there was very little money for Quilixios after he entered the paddock. I wouldn't be reading too much into that race to be honest.

I'd read that Quilixios is not going to win the Champion hurdle.

I'd think that was unlikely whatever happened yesterday to be honest.

So hard for juvenile hurdlers moving into open race company.
Someone may know the answer but are there any restricted graded races for second season hurdlers and/or limited to horses aged no older that 5 ?
Maybe one for the 2025 eight day Cheltenham festival...

Echoes in Rain a definite runner in the Morgiana next Sunday
                          Sharjah likely.
Saldier to step back up in trip for the Hatton Grace.

From Mullins in the Irish Field at the weekend

I'm looking forward to seeing Echoes in rain step up and hopefully turn out to be a champion hurdle contender.

I don't think she'll be good enough to compete at this level and even if she proves me wrong, 12/1 now is far too short IMO. Feel free to throw that back in my face at 2.10 on November 14th
