Not sure what to make of that from the 4yo. Teahupoo seemed to have a lot in hand. Quilixios looked ever so rusty. Jeff Kidder never in it and drifted significantly pre race indicating something may have been up …
Quilixios pushed out to 33/1 reflecting his performanceLast edited by Exar Essay; 6 November 2021, 02:04 PM.

impressed with tahupoo, travelled into the race really well, jumped well. got to improve again obviously. But couldn't have asked for a more promising run. I imagine they just send Quilixous chasing now. I'm sure henry wants to go chasing but connections opted to stay hurdling.Long bitcoin, long gold, long silver, long g/s opening day Cheltenham Festival

I think the market vibes had it right about how straight Teahupoo and Quilixios were for their seasonal debuts. Teahupoo shortened noticeably, and there was very little money for Quilixios after he entered the paddock. I wouldn't be reading too much into that race to be honest.Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.

So hard for juvenile hurdlers moving into open race company.
Someone may know the answer but are there any restricted graded races for second season hurdlers and/or limited to horses aged no older that 5 ?
Maybe one for the 2025 eight day Cheltenham festival...
