How can he or anyone else be bullish about that?? More hope I'd say.

Cheers. Don't have a unibet available unfortunately. I'd probably take 4s now though. That was the original price he was with Sky when I suggested waiting for bigger

Not overly thought about it still but based on the prices in the outright market surely 4s is too big... Hopefully a few others offer the market. It's a good idea in races like this tbf

Bullish, confident whatever why you want to say it,he has sounded more “bullish” in other interviews when asked about the champion hurdle and appreciate it chances imo

              • No horse has ever won the Champion Hurdle without having a prior run have they ?? Plus he's never raced in open company. If Mullins pulls it off it'll be the greatest training performance ever imo. I think he's asking far too much of Appreciate It.

If anyone is capable of it that would be Mullins. Not much value left to be had. I just did an ew double with Saint Roi without Honey and Melon without Allaho, 14/1 and 8/1 PP NRNB.

If Honeysuckle wasn't running.... would you feel the same?

Willie's done it to win a Stayers... take away Honeysuckle this is not a good race is it?

Point being, the fact no horse has ever done it, isn't relevant... what's relevant is Willie has to prepare him to beat Honeysuckle.... not Teahupoo.

                    • Think they'll just be happy him making the race Kev. I don't expect him to be competitive even if the race looks poor behind Honey. Hope it doesn't backfire.

If he turns up on the day then surely he will be competitive otherwise I can’t see WPM bothering and trying a horse just for the sake of it … IMO

I'm not sure Willie puts them on the boat just cos he's happy to have them there myself...

Maybe with Punchestown in mind he feels like he has to get a run into him ? That's the only thing I can think of. It's not as if he's already had a full season in open company last season and is going straight to this year's race. To send what essentially is still a relative novice there first time up after injury is extraordinary imo even if it is Willie we are talking about.

                            • It's Willie Mullins we are talking about here, one of the greatest NH trainers of all time. In my opinion they will be thinking they can beat Honeysuckle. Dont rule it out.

I have completely ruled it out.
