Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

If he’s ready to run now, should just stick him in a beginners chase and then go for the Arkle IMO after yesterday’s showing. Even if he gets beat, there’s fairyhouse & punchestown when he’ll be more experienced. What’s the point in chasing honeysuckle home at Cheltenham & punchestown. And hardly ideal going novice chasing at 9 years old next season.

Never happen of course, but really shouldn’t be the craziest thing, Arkle looks weak
Think they ended up taking him out of it didn't they.

I am a maaaassive Appreciate It fan, but really want to see him in the Red Mills rather than turn up first time out and try and beat Honeysuckle. I know Willie is a genius and won with horses FTO before... but I'd rather see AI has at least retained his ability!

More chance of me running in the Arkle though
Novice chasing at 58, stat breaker , no chance

Yeah will never happen unfortunately, not willies style!

        • Henry's horses are still running way below par

Honeysuckle ran RPR 159 today.......so if he matched his last run of 165, then be almost dead heat with Appreciate It

Worth noting Minella ran 7 pounds below his seasonal reappearance when "fat"....so backs up same

Really, really hope Honey does it......but worth considering AI....this is Willie and first time out won't be that much of an issue

I do think Saint Roi is overpriced today and in the Champion Hurdle market, and have made no secret of the latter on here. I think he can overturn the form with Zanahiyr provided he has come on for that run on his seasonal debut.
Honeysuckle is just phenomenal, like really, she's incredible.

It wasn't to be for Saint Roi, I'm going to hang on to the hope that a return to Cheltenham will bring out a level of required improvement to maybe pick up a place. FWIW he did finish closer to Zanahiyr, who has had the benefit of more runs this season, than the last time they met, but then again, so did Echoes In Rain, so I'm not sure that's saying much, about any of them.

Haha, chances are you're going to be right, of course, however you did, oddly, just remind me to cash out and re-back NRNB instead

                      • Echoes In Rain isn't a massive shock I suppose. Interesting to see if she's in the Mares Hurdle?

Wouldn't have guessed Sharjah at all. Must have had a setback. Looks like it's Appreciate It v Honeysuckle now...

Nine NH races at 2m, very unlike Mullins to reduce her targets this far out and commit, if that's what he's done, to a race half a mile further than she's ever been.

Sharjah is a shock and I agree muct have had a setback.
Zanihiyr back into 6/1 on Hills without Honeysuckle market, still looks very fair to me...

                            Wow! That is big news!

That's going to be a painful blow to them place bets, and I feel bad for those that backed him for that.

Still the County option I suppose. It is very un-Willie like though I agree.

Zanahiyr without Honeysuckle was the first thing I looked at too

                                Yes, that's true.
Though he seems to have so many 2m horses, he'll have a few that won't go in the Supreme so I assume their only target will be the County...
