    • My Mate Mozzie - does that show how highly Gavin Cromwell values him? A bit forgotten as he brings early season form and then a close up second in the messy Royal Bond. He had Mighty Potter behind him who has since come out over Christmas and bagged a Grade 1. Cannot see him coming here though.

Depends on your definition of social runner this imo. 3rd place behind Honeysuckle and Sharjah is anyone's.

She's obviously got the experience on her side in this race but I'd make Adagio's effort this season just as good if not better than her two wins to be honest.

Hes been getting better each run

Depends if Appreciate It makes it here or not. Can't see him out of the front three if he turns up.

                  • If My Mate Mozzie runs in this, then I'd have to back it - Not cos he has the form, but

It'd be like going on a night out with Bobby Gillespie, Shaun Ryder & Pete Doherty, and being the designated driver.

Get loaded, like the horse would need to be/and might be.

                    • Carnage at Taunton without market could be the one here. Or place only markets.

Or maybe just keep it simple and lump on honeysuckle
isitmarchyet, I'm counting on AI being a non runner to be honest. Or at least not doing himself justice. Agree it'd be hard to watch that Supreme and see him not beating most of these!

Ha ha, it would certainly be simple, but lumping on shorties ain’t my thing.
I have her in some multiples though.
Its not a race to get stuck into for me, plenty of other races for that.

That's where I'm at. He's only going to get stronger as he matures.

His performance last year does put me off though. May see what his odds are in the place market, w/o favourite and in a match against Sharjah.

I don't think Sharjah is nailed on to even place in this.

                          • I’ve been quite impressed with Zanahiyr this season. I didn’t expect much from him as a 5yo, especially over 2 miles as I thought he’d want further.

He’s not quite in the Espoir D’Allen or Our Connor class, but it’s hard to think of another juvenile who’s taken the step up so well. I know Katchit won a terrible champion hurdle, but could you really say he was much better than Zanahiyr?!

It wouldn’t shock me to see him run into a place, and I’m now hoping they keep him over hurdles next year to see if there’s further progress in him.

They same also applies to a lesser extent to Adagio, though we’re only assuming that off the back of a big run in the Greatwood. But he could show up well too.

Ideal for the County Hurdle if indeed he is a 150s rated horse as you say. Another run is needed for him to get his mark but I doubt it will be higher than 150 IMO at the moment. Would have to find 15-20lbs or so to challenge Honeysuckle if he is a 150s horse
