Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Glad to hear that. I can see myself thinking Edwardstone is the most likely winner.

Blue Lord is a way, way better result for me, and the market will probably adjust by SP... but I wouldn't be confident at all that the Irish are lbs ahead of him.

    • Personally I don't think Blue Lord will win. He finds very little off the bridle and he'll need to finish well to win this race. Can see him being thereabouts and then 1 or 2 finishing stronger

      • One thing is for certain, we’ve yet to see the best of Haut en Coleurs…

        • The arkle picture would be looked upon with more clarity had HEC stayed on his feet. With Gentleman De Mee bolting up the other day, by no less than 34 lengths thats quite a compliment. Is there a chance HEC goes off 1st or 2nd fav if townend jumps ship

          • I think Dan Skelton is right to skip the Arkle.

He might want to consider reverting to earlier tactics and having a pop at the Grand Annual though. He's 153 and may get a pound or two shaved off for yesterday, and Sky Pirate won off 152 last season.
Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.

            • Has it been formally confirmed Third Time Lucki misses the Arkle, this morning? I missed that. Thanks.

I would be nothing short of shocked if he was to get dropped for yesterday.
TTL was given an RPR of 159 for yesterday which is his joint highest RPR, Edwardstone 164.
If anything he might move up a pound...

Maybe....but he ran to 159 yesterday on RPR....so within 3 pounds of Blue Lord and still only 5 off Edwardstone

It is possible (maybe unlikely), that the English form is now better in this race....as its our best against the Irish second string

Should he duck the top 2m Novice of the season? If you were the owner, would you say.....yay, let's skip Cheltenham for the glory of Aintree?

                    • Ciel De Neige now 3 from 3.... easy enough win there.

20/1 NRNB with BV still.... I think that's fair enough!

Personally not for me, but I've made a howler of this race bar Blue Lord so who knows now

I think Ciel De Neige has comfortably put away horses that'll end up being handicappers.... so depending on his mark, he'll either be well in, or deserves to take a shot at a division without a star.

You wouldn't be scared of taking on Blue Lord. Fits in nicely, Mark Walsh needs something to do.

                          • I have written a ratings review of the last 10 years on the Arkle, and what the 1st three home in those races, achieved before they ran in those races.

Then compared to what the current Arkle entrants have achieved.

Its in my Diary in the Members section

                            • Skelton confirms TTL skips here and goes to Aintree. Was my best bet after Ferny, so this race I might just have to draw a line under and move on! Have a few others from the top of market in multiples so would need other results to go my way!

****EDIT Sorry i dont know if this is confirmed yet, trying to see if the source is reliable or if they are going off a quote, likely to head to Aintree now! Sorry don't take this as gospel yet!

Yup.. probably a race I’ll now just leave to the missus on the day on course… can’t do any worse than the amount of points I’m down on this
