  • Very, very taking performance for me. Those tactics at Cheltenham will be spot on. Massive player. Huge. Compliment to Edward.

Agree with that. Just hope Harry doesn't blow his load and go for it at the top of the hill. He has to hold on as long as possible.

Think someone has had a word with Harry about his riding, been holding them up quite a lot the last few weeks, usually today at 3 out he'd have gone hell for leather so was nice to see him just sit & give the horse a easy win with an education thrown in for free.

          • Apparently TTL suffered slight over-reach.......not sure if anything to worry about, but just mentioned on Sky Sports Racing

So one to keep eye on

Sorry - just seen Darj also caught it......least we have been warned

            Arkle surely can't lose anymore

                  • Horse strikes into itself (IE rear hoof catches front hoof area), long as it hasn't gone deep he'll be fine in a day or 2.

I don't think he can be ruled out either.
                      I'm sure it will help!

Theres every chance he would beat him if held up for me

Question is how he matches up against the mullins horses

As a betting heat the race got a lot more interesting when ferny was ruled out

                        • Agree with others about TTL today, good ride from Skelton clearly found better tactics for him and he never really had to get out of first gear at any point.

Clearly goes well round Cheltenham and for me he's still the best this side of the Irish Sea even with that blip against Edwardstone, which I think he has a great chance of over turning in March.
                          March.
Mind not sure I'd go anywhere near that price as it is!

                          • Third Time Lucki:

While it did seem the perfect prep at first glance, Skelton went on to reveal the setback.
“He just had a little bit of an overreach which I need to keep an eye on. It’s nothing bad, just a little one, but we’ll just see how that is,” he said.
“I don’t know if it will keep him out of Cheltenham, it’s nothing bad.
“If he goes to Cheltenham, great. If he has to miss Cheltenham because of the overreach and wait for Aintree than that is fine as well. He’s just magic and we’re delighted to have him.”

                            • Such a shame if he misses Fez. He'd have a huge chance.

                              • Fingers crossed.

With Appreciate It, then Ferny Hollow getting injured.
Having finally warmed to Third Time Lucki after today.
To potentially miss the festival would be another kick in the teeth for the race for me
