Same for me. Is it too late for Willie to send Appreciate It over a fence? He'd hose up in this race compared to chasing Honeysuckle home in the CH.

Yep the worst part of the game

Its why bookies should not be allowed to have sponsorship deals with trainers and jockeys

            • I won't comment on it after my thoughts on AI drifting went down badly...

I only backed Ferny again this afternoon though. Got to laugh.

              • Is this renewal on track to be as bad as last years now? Albeit it is wide open now there is no superstar

Could be why he gave him entries as a option.

                    Its wide open now

Horses like riviere detel, haut en coulers, saint sam etc all have good chances if they progress next time out

The DRF race should tell us something alright. I'd be throwing Edwardstone and Third Time Lucki into the mix as well. Wide open.

I just can't have that Edwardstone and TTL are better horses than Blue Lord.

That's without taking into account the potential Haut En Couleurs has over a fence.

                        • Woof. Damage not too bad barring an ante post 20/1 ticket, a couple of small stakes accas down but I think my RABs have taken a dent with no Ferny and Appreciate It. Especially my Ferny/Journey 100/1 double

the irish arkle is now an absolutely huge race

Anything wins that comfortably they will be a short priced fav

I suspect edwardstone will run in the kingmaker against trees so we won't learn anything more about him

                              • I wonder whether we'll see a larger Arkle field than normal this year. Perhaps more trainers willing to "give it a go"
