Hello Fat Jockeys,
Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum
We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.
I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

So I'd be concerned he's going to be hurdling now, like you.

And almost definite if he doesn't run him in the Christmas-New Year period."Journeys to Glory, breathing in his head".

I was impressed with For Pleasure at Plumpton today. Only a Class 3 and a field of three, but he did it well. I made a case for him last year as a useful EW play in the Supreme and, with a bit of fortune, he returned on that. Several points I mentioned last season remain relevant now:- Has good (course) form in the book, beating Third Time Lucki 3 3/4 lengths back in November '20. And now also has his Supreme 3rd.
- Looks to have a preference for going left-handed.
- Likes belting away from the front. Still does this and we know he'll put at least some of the field under pressure therefore.
- He's clearly identified as a two-miler rather than being between distances. I don't see any sign of him stepping up in trip.
- Has won on good, and soft.
I know won't be to some tastes but I think useful cover at this point and especially for those making a book(?)
Thoughts welcomed!

At the prices hes worth a go imo.
If he turns up he will almost certainly be shorter, and backing him should give you some excitement.
Cheers Evesham.

The ?50k bonus might persuade them to go for the Grand Annual though.

I was going to back him for the Arkle but like Faugheen_Machine said I had the Grand Annual in the back of my mind too.
I felt Edwardstone would have beat him had he not fallen, the time they met and with the Irish also likely better, even only 5 or 6 runners I do feel he'd struggle to place this time around.
That said, you'll probably be ahead of the market on the day should he turn up, and if making a book may well be one get onside.

….For Pleasure did win impressively today, I looked immediately for an a/r price but the only one I can see is 12-1 with Sky which is hardly tempting.
There is a Sky RaB to win the Grand Annual @ 16-1 & another to win the Coral Cup @ 25-1.Last edited by Eggs; 13 December 2021, 04:52 PM.

….yep, I was sure he’d be listed too. Watch this space, the 12-1 with Sky is dreadful but I suppose it fits with their 16-1 for GA.
