Good afternoon all. Thank you for all of the entries in the antepost competition, it was a great turnout. As we are now only 14 days away, it’s time to get the week competition going. The deadline for entries is 7pm on Sunday 8th March. For anybody who did not enter the antepost one and is unaware of the rules, they are as follows:
Everybody who enters will pick one horse for each race of the festival (please copy the template at the bottom of my post). Your selection can score points for coming anywhere fourth or better, the scoring system is as follows:
Successfully pick a winner earns 10 points
Second 5 points
Third 3 points
Fourth 1 point.
There is a bonus for each winner equal to a level £1 stake on that selection. All prices will be taken as the SPs from the racing post app.
All non-runners will score zero points.
I will provide daily updates on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings with an up to date leaderboard. The winner will be announced on Saturday as I am out drinking on Friday and will be in no fit state to do this on Friday night
The competition is open to every member presuming that selections are posted here before the deadline. No entries can be edited once submitted. There is no entry fee as unfortunately we are not allowed to do paid competitions. The winner of each competition can have a change in title on their profile for a year to represent their success.
