It would be a Sea Of Blue top 4 almost. The most repeated sea of blue since I started logging it.

So i would rather keep the peace and go with the sea of blue suggestion (stats/facts of blue cannot be challenged)
It just makes sense to get a bit closer before commiting mate...

Are you certain you won't change your mind on those selections between now and Sunday 8th March?

Going for the horses that have been cut the most often in price, probably means they aren't going to be value anymore too

PP - no-one is unhappy with your selections, but you’ve bypassed the 10 days of discussion that usually precede confirmation of your selections...

        The POP E/W Yankee is:

        - Easylands (XC) 4
        - Aspire Tower (Triumph) 7.5
        - Clan Des Obeaux (GC) 9
        - Emitom w/o paisley park 6.5

if you cant get on the without paisley then obviously:
        - Easywork (XC) 4
        - Aspire Tower (Triumph) 7.5
        - Clan Des Obeaux (GC) 9
        - Emitom 13
Well that's that then. Well done POP in record time

I particularly love the bit where if you can't get on the w/o paisley park market
you also switch Easylands for Easywork

As a happy medium POP maybe the above could be your ante post Yankee and we could have one on Monday 9th after everyone has discussed? Would you be happy with that?

I take it that the final choices for these Yankees is Sunday 8th March as this means that all four days have reached 5-day decs (supplementary entries) Etc, and we have a more definitive position on what horses may make the final cut in the races, particularly the ten handicap races.

I think the normal way of things goes out of the window when you have a despot in charge.

We also have Tuesdays final decs at 11am on Sunday 8th, which makes the Tuesday Yankee chosen when the final fields are known.

That’s great, with 140-odd entries in the Coral Cup and Martin Pipe, we need the Irish rating tomorrow, and then to discard most of the bottom one hundred from each of those races as being potential non-runners.

Similar for the other handicaps just with lower numbers discarded as not being high enough rated in them.

At this point I am far more interested in Handicap selection finding, as the hard work is already done on the Grade 1 races.

I may put up a Handicap Hurdle Super Yankee when we are through to 5-day decs on everything.

                            ....a bet I never do at Cheltenham but mine is on with an e/w accumulator;

                            Tues - Kildisart (Ultima) 14-1.
                            Wed - Repetitio (Boodles) 16-1.
Thu - Bob Mahler (Kim Muir) 20-1.
                            Fri - Mohaayed (County) 16-1.

                            Pays over £205,600 for @ £1.

Just to clear up any details here. I had only planned/been earmarked to do a sea of blue yankee where there wasnt really any debate -it was just the stats that decided. Personal opinion so far is that there is so many normal threads, hcap entries, twitter and news articles to keep tabs on now during crunch time this yankee stuff appears to be very important. I am quite happy to give this overall yankee back to.someone else (as I mentioned I was not expecting this particular responsibility).

Happy to do the sea of blue yankee still. I dont want to cause any unnecessary friction. We dont need this...especially on handicap day ! Sea of blue will be enough work and effort as it is lol. Good luck today all.
