  • FJ Day Four Yankee - Captain: Craigy14

The captain of the Day Four Fat Jockey Yankee is:

    Craigy14

You are in complete control of the yankee. Your decision is final. If you want to do win only, each way, get people to vote, pick it all youself, pick ones with nice colours - it's all fine. (As long as it's only horses running on the Friday )

    YOU decide. We follow.

Deadline for the yankee is Sunday 8th March, 18:00 (to allow everybody time to get on)

Plenty of forum favourites on the Friday, Column of Fire being one.
Not certain to head to the County but assuming Mullins comes to his senses Aramon looks to be huge value...

Haha thanks Kev, hopefully get a nice Yankee to end the week on a high

Fire the suggestions in, Friday is normally a tough day for winners, which can work in favour as get some good value.

That being said will most likely be each way.

Surely Mohaayed in the county, that’s your value right there

I know I am captain to make the final say but I’d like to throw a couple of suggestions in for the Albert Bartlett, for a win Yankee or a place Yankee.

Win - has to be Latest Exhibition and imo is still great value with 6/1 7/1 still available for him. Only reason I don’t see him shorter is the trainer, which I don’t see as a negative at all. Committed the horse to this race some time ago, great form so far this season. I know a lot are on at 66/1 which was a fantastic early shout!

Place - think Fury Road has been forgotten a bit for this now on the back of the defeat in the Grade 1 lto (which LE won). Had done everything right before that race, finished 4th which wasn’t a terrible run. I think the test of this race and the hill will play into his strengths and wouldn’t be surprised if he reversed the form.

Friday always seems a tough day so best of luck Craig14, but I'd stick Al Boum Photo right at the top of any list.

Can't see him being far away, unsure if many novices from last season will be improving past him either.

Latest exhibition - great call i.m.o.
And i know C.O.D's put up Al Boum , but i wouldn't see Santini out of the first three i.m.o !.

I thought Willie said that's going for the race over 1 mile further, 40 minutes earlier?

Allmankind gotta go in there surely..i agree on fury road hed need the full 3 miles and the finish to be seen at his best massive chance at those odds!

I like greaneteen for the grand annual but he may not go cheltenham, maybe great field can get in there and make all!

Hazel Hill Is still very impressive he was beat last time but aparently was carrying a little niggle and jumping massively to the right but still wasnt far off even dodgy jumping and givin weight

And then we would be fools not to get column of fire in there everyones mad for it

He left all options open. Second guessing either Willie or JP isn't recommended. Second guessing both is plain foolish.

It's an interesting conundrum. He's 16/1 in the any race market but individual race best prices and NRNB are:
                          Bartlett 40/1 (33/1)
                          Coral 20/1 (14/1)
                          County 25/1 (12/1)
                          Pipe 16/1 (12/1)

If hes possibly in the county but then maybe in the bartlett then put him in the coral surely!

I’m still amazed Latest Exhibition is not favourite for the AB and still very good value
