7,144,946/1 win acca, and 15,463/1 place acca.
Just two places at 40/1 and 50/1 would double the initial outlay
It will be referred to the traders though. I know because I just did it. Although they did approve it.
I bet nobody can resist doing it anyway given a 15p each way yankee gets the million up.
Can you imagine 50 Fat Jockeys on it when Eklat De Rire jumps the last in the Gold Cup with a 10 length lead!
Denise would be shitting herself!

And Eklat De Rire is likely to be one of only three second season chasers with any chance of being competitive in the Gold Cup. As a proper old fashioned chasing type he could very well do much better than people expect.
All four legs nailed on to come in I reckon!
Less of a fan of Eklat De Rire. I know he is 66/1 so it's hard to pick too many holes, but I can see a world where all of the others go off in the top few in the market. I really can't see EDR being anywhere near the top of the market in the GC.

I'm a cash only customer now. I use the machines at Hills, and it's an anonymous way to have a bet. Put at lot of antepost lucky 15's on last year without a problem. Some bets are declined, particularly bigger stakes EW doubles, but generally a more positive experience for me over online accounts, where they quickly get restricted or you're told to bugger off.

I sense a bit of negativity towards the owner yankee, but the Chevely Park perms last year did pretty well. Granted ferny hollow and envoi allen didn't make it/do the business, but a plus tard placed and allaho, sir gerhard and quilixios all popped up and they were priced up at 10/1, 25/1 and 25/1 last year this time with Hills.
Just a bit of fun, but they were all high profile horses trained by the right people and worth a shot.

Just a bit of fun.
It may just be my paranoia but having lost so many accounts I have to consider what bets might put a flag on my account…

Last night I was working through some big priced permutations of doubles, trebles and 4-timers that blew the million pound payouts.
Hope to come to a conclusion and back something tonight, across flat and NH races.
Those in the mix were:
Journey With Me 25/1 - A.Bartlett
Shewearsitwell 50/1 - Champion Hurdle
Eklat De Rire 66/1 - Gold Cup
Ahoy Senor 40/1 - RSA
Natasha 50/1 - The Oaks
Luxembourg 50/1 - The Derby
Wrens Nest 50/1 - Champion Sprint (Ascot on Champions Day)
Duke De Sessa 50/1, - 2000Guineas
Mise En Scene 33/1, - 1000 Guineas
Homeless Songs 28/1 1000 Guineas
Need to make a move before the weekend as Natasha is entered up on Friday, as are Homeless Songs, Duke de Sessa and Luxembourg.Last edited by Saxon Warrior; 6 September 2021, 07:42 PM."Journeys to Glory, breathing in his head".

If we are going to go with the long shot theme, again I'll nominate Gerri Colombe for the Ballymore.
Since I last suggested him, we've seen bits from connections mentioning the Ballymore as a likely target. Same reasons as last time...won 2 x 2m on the snaff, looks like he could be a monster of a horse. With JWM seemingly the Albert Bartlett horse then why not Gerri Colombe for this? 40/1 in places but generally 33/1.

If going 33/1 or 40/1+ would it be worth having one approx 20/1 shot as a (hopefully) 4/1 place 'banker' in there? A horse who if he/she runs in the race would almost certainly be favourite or close to. If we had a 4/1, 8/1 place double that would give a decent amount of money back on the bet right?
Examples at their respective times would have been Galopin De Champs (25/1 RSA), RWF (20/1 NHC), SWIW (Wasn't 40/1 around earlier this year for Mares Hurdle? I only ever got 14s so maybe not) and Envoi Allen (20/1 GC). My current argument for one at the moment would be Journey With Me (AB) at 20/1 or more, but he was covered in an earlier bet and the price may even have gone if he gets a favourable mention in OJA before this bet is placed.
