Don't think GOL will run if it's deep ground. She appreciates better ground . The Annie G entry will raise a few eyebrows. Henry must rate her highly.

Its an early season Grade 3, so it makes sense to target any Novice Hurdler with half-decent winning form.

Should show connections, what sort of horse talent they've got.

That said, if he comes out & wins, or even goes close, should he run in the Munster national then he’s probably half that, as I think most are now wise to the nh Chase angle with him after last season. Could be one for the ‘win today and…’ markets for me
Yes I'm a backer Toni. Let's face it, the race will be either Elliott or Mullins given what they're lining up. It's hard to see anyone else being a real threat other than perhaps a late switcher from the RSA, and they still tend to get beat by the experienced chasers with profiles like Ontheropes and Run Wild Fred. The key for me is identifying the right ones, and if he stays fit he's sure to be one of Willie's darts. There seems little point sending him to the RSA. He's in the right kind of rating range already and won't have to do too much more to top them for the race.

If he wins or goes close his price tumbles, so I want him onside now. As you say, he comes with a risk though, but I'm happy to accept it. I wouldn't if he was from any other stable than Mullins or Elliott though.

She's just won a listed race by 8Ls why would her next race being a G3 raise eyebrows?

Looks a stronger race than the Galway race she won plus , as per Saxon, Mullins sends his better early types to the Joe Mac that invariably end up in the Royal Bond.

It should be harder, it's a g3 compared to a listed race....you know that. Probably better going against Mullin's better early types, than his proper Winter types!

Yeah as i said over in his race planning page, i'd say Arctic Warrior could be the one, but he's got to step up to her level still not the other way round. She'll still get a few pounds off him as well, not quite as many as she's won 2 hurdles, but still.

Yes, Willie has won the Joe Mac all of the last 5 times he has run anything in it.

Im hoping she goes very close as my big fancy for the NMH Gypsy Island beat her giving weight and having had 2 years out. Will watch with interest. Mullins Artic Warrior could be a dark one for the Supreme/Ballymore. I may add him. I'll check his TWAR.

I guess there's Down Royal at the end of the month for both Annie G and Purple Mountain so i wouldn't be shocked to see one or both sidestep this. We'll see though as they'd be meeting Party Central there probably.

TWAR does seem a decent bet price dependant.

….it was only 18-1 for a ‘win today’ offer last month, the firms didn’t move the price much.

She won easy at Chelt off 142 doing plenty wrong? It does create a problem for her though as she does seem a real stayer and there aren't many (if any) proper staying mares graded chases about. That's why i was wonder would Gordie go in off 134 over hurdles in Ireland and try and pick up some pots...

On your Elimay shout, Willie has said she probably wants 3m so it's definitely an interesting shout.

You could be right re Ida, makes sense. Nothing for her at Cheltenham imo.

Elimay GC shout is way outside of box and I still expect her to go Mares Chase but 40/1???!!! Worth a pop yeah ? Love Cheltenham.

Going to put you on the spot now Jack.......if you had to stick a grand on a horse AP now for the Fez, win or ?500 EW, what would it be??

Mine would be Flooring Porter ?500 EW.
