We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

Mister Malarkey will get a few more lbs for that win and his price has gone down to a general 12. I would much prefer to be on Kildisart at 33s and think he will turn around the form at Cheltenham, IMO.
Kildisart will need to jump much better at Cheltenham, gave up lengths at plenty of fences today.

    • Can't believe he got pushed out for that though. Hopefully on better ground he will run even better. I've added another point EW at 33/1 with bet365

      • I've had another half a point EW on Kildisart before the 33's goes! Just cant believe the price. 4th in the JLT last year a nose ahead of Vinndication and going to be at least 6lb's better off with that horse who is 7/1 fav... The step up in trip looks like it will really suit him as well. Just looks an absolute rick.

          • That looked a hard race today in soft ground and with only 2 weeks to go I’m not going to be backing any of them as impressive as Mister Malarky was. The only stat going against Vinddication for this race is that he is currently favourite so if he drifts a bit then he should be bang on statistically wise??

Think the ground was “Good (Good to soft in places), TKP.

              • Nothing wrong with the exception of a couple of jumps from Kildisart there IMO.

Can't believe he was pushed after the race. Will be going back in again on him.

Was it really? I thought Henderson pulled Fusil out because it was coming up too soft at Kempton??

Profile wise he ticks a lot of boxes. Stats wise he is right there as per the owners/trainers/jockeys thread

Official going was given as Good To Soft in the end, but the race times were all quick so I think it was pretty fast ground compared to most of this season. It certainly wasn’t soft though, mate.

                          • Forgot to add I’ve a Disco ticket for here at 33/1 with B365. Hoping Paul Nolan has a belter because I must have his whole team sheet covered. Up the yellow bellies

That’s a big relief TCH, maybe Simon Claire’s assessment of Cheltenham is genuine that the course will be genuinely fresh and perfect racing conditions in fortnight....I really hope so, I hate shitty heavy racing, it reminds me of those crap losses in football and golf that should never have happened!!

I know there’s some that rate Claisse, but i’m very sceptical. I also don’t buy this “Cheltenham drains quickly” line. Not like Kempton it doesn’t!!

Go every year and always go across the course to watch the cross country in the middle of the course on the Wed. Gives you a great opportunity to judge the ground for yourself. Similar to walking across Sandown’s course from the rail station to the stand.

2 years ago, Claisse massively undercalled the ground; it was heavy, no ifs no buts.

I think he regularly calls it better than it really is.
