"Gordon Elliott has confirmed that unbeaten juvenile hurdler Fil Dor remains firmly on track for a tilt at the Triumph Hurdle despite being handed an entry against his elders for the Supreme Novices'.
Speaking on Tuesday after entries were revealed for the Cheltenham Festival's Grade 1 novice and four-year-old only hurdles, Elliott indicated that the Spring Juvenile Hurdle at the Dublin Racing Festival would be the exciting youngster's next port of call."
Fil Dor and stablemate Pied Piper featured among a handful of four-year-olds entered in the Supreme, just as was the case last season, with the Elliott-trained Zanahiyr, who did not take up his day-one option and instead finished fourth as 11-8 favourite in the JCB-backed Grade 1.
"Fil Dor goes for the Triumph," said Elliott of the 5-2 market leader.
"All season he hasn't put a foot wrong and his next start will hopefully be at the Dublin Racing Festival."
