Agree with Ferny not being impressive last time out, which was part of what pushed me towards Riviere on Boxing Day. He did beat Couer Sublime though and the others are a very average bunch.
Agree, it's not a deep race and Couers record at Leopardstown is desperate. That said, Ferney got beat at odds on there on his only appearance . I do wonder about the ground for FH as well as it'll be the quickest he's raced on and last time he was doing his best work at the finish. Wouldn't he surprised if they are talking Marsh again after the race !! I just don't know re RD as she's going Left Handed and imo she's beaten zilch carrying a featherweight. We could have a major shock !

Entered in both as far as I know

Gordon’s said he’s being aimed at the stayers, and think he namechecked the Xmas hurdle after the Irish champion, so I’d be pretty confident that’s where he’ll go.

He's a different horse to the one that last ran at Leopardstown though. FH definitely doesn't get the credit he deserves - won the champion bumper comfortably enough and then beat Bob Olinger on his hurdles debut. The talk has largely been about Bob and AI being certainties, yet he had their number when they met.

The 7/1 is bigger than it should be imo. I'm not convinced he'll win, far from it, but still think 7/1 is too big.

          • Largy debut pp future champions + supreme 28/1 with sky… seems fair.

Still maintain that’s decent to be honest; unless they finish in a heap should he win he will probably be around 6s at a guess representing the leading Irish challenge (at that moment), and the straight double of those prices would be 20/1

RD won at Navan latest LH course

He's got to beat mighty potter first who's marginally fav for the future champions,

                      • Asked for Facile vega leopardstown and champion bumper, now it's down to 10-1 I'm guessing they'll come back with something like 14/1

A literal, unraced horse under any rules, at best priced 12/1, to win the Champion Bumper at the Cheltenham festival is hilarious.

If they come back at 14/1, and anyone on here takes it... let me know, so I can update their 'tag line'

I think everyone here got on very early around the 20/25s!

So she did. Think it was the tendancy to jump to her right there that confused me.

...and it's a fucking horror price at 20s and 25s pal

This forum is now an echo chamber for taking bad prices, as early as possible.

<-----yes - at least 10 pints everyone really.
