…not as yet, Sky often put up a few offers the morning of the race.

Honestly, it’s been a long day! Sorry guys, I was thinking about getting Belle Metal onside ahead of her run at the weekend, and saw Brandy Love was running tomorrow - I was mulling using BL as a roll up and my brain got the two confused. Only need GDM for win today and at the festival tomorrow, so will check back tomorrow - thanks everyone for flagging. I really need a break...

To be fair if Buzz wins by a few lengths on Saturday (with Thyme Hill in behind) I can realistically see him going quite a short priced favourite for the Stayers... I can see why they've got it at 15/2. But as I've said it's not a price I'll be backing.

I said a few lengths...
He's already favourite for the Stayers and his main question mark is over staying the 3 miles. Winning this would in theory resolve that somewhat. Add to that he'd be beating the third favourite (and fifth and sixth fav) for the Stayers by 'a few lengths', and I don't think something between 2s and 3s is that unrealistic. There'd certainly be worse priced favourites in the festival markets!
As I said probably a couple of pages back now anything below double figures I wouldn't be taking and the rolling singles would probably be a better play. I think he might actually drift for the Long Walk with Thyme Hill popular... And if he does I'll play the single.
I don't think it's value at 15/2 but as a related double I can see why it's all they're offering.
I get it's not that much bigger than just his Stayers price at the moment, but it's fairly hard to see any angle where he wins the Stayers after being beaten in the Long Walk.
It's about the right price. Not great but not horrific.
As I've seem to have said on the last few... There's not many of these bets that I think are actually better than just playing the singles.
