    • I wonder if Henderson could appeal the previous appeal hearing decision and get DDC's mark reinstated to 142... Pretty much guaranteed to get in then

      • DDC needs 9 (I think) to pull out to get in. JP only has two entered above her so he can't manipulate that either.

She's been well backed prior to this so will be interesting.

Alfa Mix looks to be a strong traveller, with improving form, and his trainer Gavin Cromwell has JP horses, so this makes complete sense if the trainer thinks the horse is better than 142.

Was Alpha Mix the one Tony Mullins said was burning the place up?

They probably have Ilikedwayurthinkin for the Martin Pipe. Trainer said he would rather keep them apart. JP has plenty of options for both race, though (Front View as well for the Martin Pipe).

                  • I don't know if anyone has mentioned this horse yet, or have even noticed the horse has been entered for this race. So the horse is Traffic Fluide. He's on a mark of 142 and I just have this sneaky feeling hes a forgotten horse here. He's rated round 149 over fences maybe more when its soft/heavy ground since he loves the type of ground. I just seen that hes still entered for this race. At 20/1 is tempting me and wanted other people's thoughts on this?

...I’ve backed it for the National and I understand it still needs to complete a chase to qualify. Running here won’t give them much time, but if it turns up it’s one I’ll have to have an interest in on the day.

                        • HAs anybody heard L'Ami Serge mentioned?

WH are standout 33/1 which is massive but I don't want to back a Non Runner with only 6.5 hours to go

I was thinking the same a few days ago Kev...but I vaguely remember Hendo saying that the Stayers was his primary target, might of been the Unibet preview (can’t remember) so I wouldn’t back him without NRNB cover unless you know something more recent. Although given the “leaning towards Mr Fisher to the Arkle” nonsense, he’s maybe favourite to turn up here

On Racing TV Anthony Bromley said he really liked him for this but Henderson wanted him in the Stayers. I think the Coral Cup would be perfect for him, but it looks like this isn't preferred option.
