Great racing weight and the conditions of the race will really suit. 5lbs for finishing 3rd seemed a bit steep for me but having already backed him I certainly wont be throwing my slip away!

He's still a live one still but certainly would have been nicer off 139

I read that the aintree hurdle is the main aim but they may take the champion hurdle enroute.

hahah probably wise! Its funny to think though that he arguably has a better chance in the champion hurdle than he does in the coral cup!

Got protektorat on my radar for this.

I like The Cashel Man. I think he has the beating of Protektorat on a form line through Enrilo and that horse's win over House Island.
LTO, Enrilo gave Thyme Hill a race and will also improve should there be better ground at Cheltenham.

He’ll find it hard in this race and Albert Bart to lead and do it from front unless they can ride him effectively with a change of tactics

It’s a bizarre plan if The Cashel Man were to move up to 3 miles. That would negate the speed he would need on the flat, on the slog up the hill. OR maybe he is the new Penhill?
