Trying to think of a French horse that Willie has sent to the Bumper. Looked at the last few years and all were Irish bred.
Most of the frenchies he sends straight over hurdles when he gets them

Sounds to me like a pacey horse they're looking to send novice hurdling.

TOTGs suggestion of Nikini isn't a bad shout, I watched her last win and requested odds on the back of that. I was quoted 25s.

They skipped a Juvenile campaign with him and kept him at home. They decided to send Ha’Dor down that route instead of Hubrisko. I think they will send him
        straight over hurdles.

Just read the section on Jumpers to follow “remains an exciting prospect for novice hurdles this time around”. They also go on to talk about the fact that he will be more effective over the minimum trip.

        Hope that helps
Like the Tesco slogan says 'Every little helps' and it's good to get people's thoughts and opinions. I thought that Vautour had gone Bumper / Supreme route but having checked back this wasn't the case.
Maybe Grangeclare West is the one and it keeps the CPS legacy of Bumper winners alive (four in a row if this lad does it).

I agree. I think one of them will stay in bumpers. It’s a minefield at the moment as they’ve come out and pretty much said all 3 will be going over hurdles.

And with that I can now commence the start of Mullins Bingo…. Waheyyyyyy

I wonder what the thinking will be behind which of the CPS horses is best suited to the Champion Bumper?? Classic Getaway is considered the best of the bunch by the owners but the poor record of the sire at the festival would make me think twice about backing him. Does anyone know of a Getaway progeny being victorious at the festival?? He has obviously had winners at Cheltenham but I can't recall a festival winner??

Glowing Account is one I'm keeping a close eye out for when he's entered up. Though is a French Bred.

Classic Getaway couldn’t have looked less like a champion bumper horse on his last run.
