He picked the first two in the feature chase at Kempton yesterday as well.

Chelts Day 1 2016 I was in the RP tent and he shuffled in looking flustered before racing to run through the card, was hopeless with everything and then popped up with Ballyalton in the Close Brothers. Think I backed 4 seconds that day of which Bouvreil was one of them.

I realise he's not everyones cup of tea, but he's always worth a listen in my book. As you say picked a couple of good winners last year. I know his day to day tipping isn't doing great at the minute, but at the big meetings i always listen to him with interest.

Ha! I wish. This year, i’ve so many multiples, I can but hope.

Edit: I should add I had a tiny £1.50 double on Klassical Dream and City Island from January some time at big prices. That saved my multiple game last year!

Davy rides galvin in close brothers novice handicap and expects a good run.
