Great idea for a thread Saxon. 20/1 is a good minimum price to aim for in singles this far out, and I've kept to it so far apart from Grangee at 16/1.

The reason I haven't backed those below yet depends mainly on what the trainers say about them at the beginning of next season, and which races/distances they are entered for.

    Shewearsitwell - 50/1 Champion Hurdle
    Dark Raven - 25/1 Ballymore
Grand Paradis - 25/1 Brown Advisory
Haut En Couleurs - 33/1 Marsh
    Ronald Pump - 25/1 Stayers

A race target/Cheltenham entry for most others on my shortlist is too much to speculate on currently.

A horse I like alot SS but the Marsh, for me, is just brutal at the moment from an ante post perspective, there's every chance the Supreme or Bumper is easier to solve right now.
Bob Olinger has the potential to be the best horse in training, then you have the likes of My Drogo, Quilixios, Appreciate It, Ferny Hollow, James de Berlais, Sir Gerhard, Dusart, Galopin des Champes and Ballyadam to name just a few.

Of course they won't all make it here but right now, 10 months out, they're all potential runners...

I do like the Shewearsitwell price and race. For me, she needs an entry and declaration before knowing for sure that her injury recovery is complete.

Hence why I haven't backed him!

Letsbeclearaboutit looks bred for 3M on pedigree out of Flemensfirth, an unraced dam, but the granddam is Refinement a Grade 1 3M hurdle winning mare, who won the Punchestown Stayers that Klassical Dream won last week.

GALVIN at 40-1 with cash out for the Gold Cup is an excellent price - IF it transpires that it's the race Gordon targets en route to Aintree.

That's a pretty big IF because the Cross Country would give him a much easier warm-up race for the Grand National.

I don't think Gordon will be able to resist taking Galvin to the Festival - bearing in mind his two excellent runs this year and last.

And the GC and the XX are his only realistic options.

But you could imagine a scenario where Gordon dips his toe in the water and Galvin takes on the best in Ireland in a grade 1 over 3 miles sometime next season in the build up to Cheltenham - and lo and behold Galvin beats them.

                What does Gordon do then?

He's blown Galvin's rating for the National and he just might have a Gild Cup horse on his hands.

We know Galvin travels and stays well and he's got a decent turn-of-foot. His running style is pretty similar to Al Boum Photo - it's a classic way to win a GC.

Surely Gordon goes for the Gold Cup rather than the Cross Country - if he's decided Aintree is a no-go.

Even without the fantasy grade 1 win in Ireland I'd take an each way punt on Galvin at 40-1 for the GC right now - if I knew he was going to turn up.

                I may do it anyway.

And if I'm right about Galvin being decent value at 40-1 then Next Destination is massive at 80-1 with Unibet (66-1 with PP/BF).

Unfortunately he'll be 10 next year - which is a bit old to be making your GC debut - but that was a terrific run to finish 1 1/2 lengths behind Galvin in the NHC on only his third start over fences.

He's a gutsy performer who is very consistent and would probably be better suited by the GC trip than the NHC - or the Grand National.

He was a staying on third behind Samcro in the Ballymore and could end up being Nicholls best GC hope next season.

I like that NC - it's not impossible.

My longshot for the GC is the horse that spanked Galvin in the Novice Handicap Chase a couple of years ago.

Imperial Aura at 66/1 looks huge (to me) given they are almost certain to test him over three miles at the start of next season. He was outpaced in the Ryanair (most were in fairness) and perhaps needs a stiffer test. His profile wouldn't be too dissimilar to APT.

Of all the horses at wild prices, he's the one I like the most.

If anyone can get him added to the exchanges it'd be appreciated.

Good thread! Three I think could be interesting at those odds:

Ashdale Bob 25-1 RSA: Decent form (beating Fakeira and gentlemansgame), looks like he wants 3m and I think I read connections saying they really saw him coming into his own over fences next year.

I Am Maximus 50-1 Supreme: Others have highlighted. I like the form with My Drogo but also his time on the clock and course win.

James Du Berlais 20-1 Marsh: Mullins team talk him up and you could easily see him becoming their Marsh horse. Last run very promising. Given Bob O's target not confirmed, 20-1 could look really good for the Marsh.

O'Toole finished 2nd in the Grade1 @ Punchestown beaten 4 3/4l by Kilcruit with Sir Gerhard 2 3/4l back in 3rd. The trainers son rode on the day and couldn't claim (7lb) as it was a Grade1 and could be considered the best horse in the race. 20/1 for the Ballymore with B365 (25/1 skybet) and more interesting to me is the 33/1 for the AB

Presumably changes stable after his holidays

I’ve already got Bob Olinger & My Drogo onside for the race though so I’m in no rush to add JDB. I don’t know if Willie has mentioned a target for him next season, other than he goes chasing, so I’m happy to track for now.
I'm very interested in him whether he stays over hurdles or goes chasing

They’ve said several times he was brought over to go chasing, but he is trained by Willie I suppose!

Munir and Souede bought him from the trainer after his debut win, but left him in the stable for the Punchestown race.

They will keep him in Ireland wont they, not ship him over to Hendo.

Maybe one for Willie in the Albert Bartlett
(his half-brother won and came 2nd in his two best hurdles runs - both over 3M)
