All the short ones look tempting.
I've done a big acca with them, as one or 2 may go off a lot shorter.

But the big take out is they are clearly expecting to be able to lay them at bigger nearer the day, barring mishaps and injuries to rivals and second favourites etc.
I think a big acca 4x or 5x is worth it as it may even itself out.

I believe in shops too, but not certain.

I wasn’t trying to explain how nrnb works.

I was trying to enlighten how nrnb allows each bookmaker, at the time their company’s traders allow it, give them tinier %’s in their favour on ‘horses they currently have liabilities they don’t want’ on………..

……..and yet market it as being a lovely bonus for punters. It might and will for specific bettors, but not for punters as a whole across the industry.

Every decision a bookmaker makes concerns edges on how to make more money. Short term, long term, or any other term otherwise.

I don't care. I know how betting works I know how nrnb works. And as for your private message, I don't care how much you've supposedly won or lost nor interested in any screen shots that you are so desperate to send.

I don't care, neither does anyone else. It's not like you're gonna send them and all of a sudden people are going to stop thinking you're a goon and start worshiping you as some kind of gambling legend. It's narcissistic and cringy, you really need to snap back into reality, if you act like this in real life away from the forum I can only imagine you're a really unloveable character. Just chill out.

                        • Enlightening stuff this. Here I was thinking the bookmakers were out there trying to lose money to us.

                            • Comrades let's remember we're all on the same side.

It's New Year's Day - still the season of goodwill and all that nonsense - so maybe we should try and be kind to one another.

We all get a bit exasperated/steaming/engulfed by red mist from time to time.

But let's maybe not rise to the bait, cut out the sarcasm, count to ten and maybe take some deep breaths, go and take a walk before wading in and having a pop at each other.

I dunno about anyone else, but I find it's not a whole lotta fun to read.

And this forum has sooooo much going for it and gives such pleasure to so many - besides imparting an incredible level of racing knowledge for FREE - I think each and every one of us can do better than that.

Wanna make it clear I'm NOT directing this sermon from the NC pulpit at anyone in particular (honest, please believe me) .

But the period from now till the Fez is gonna see us all travel along the The Punter's Avenue of Maximum Stress so let's try to take things down a notch or two. No excuses, no well but's.....let's just try to give everyone else a break.

                              Amen, brothers and sisters.

PS:In case you get the wrong idea, I can't remember the last time I went to church.

What I don’t need is someone to tell me, that I’m trying to tell a forum how nrnb’s work - we all know this. But if I’m prepared to indulge into the business decisions as to why they decide to, and the date their traders give the ‘go ahead’ for this to happen (to keep the margins on their side), I’d be happy not to receive comments about it.

                                Apologies to you.
