Anyone know anything about William Hill? Do they usually go NRNB at any point? And when they do does that mean existing ante post bets can be cashed out?
They didn't go NRNB last year
The year before they did but only if a horse ran in a different race, not missing entirely...
...and you can't cash out any bets with WH as far as I'm aware

Cheers mate, I suspected as much. Opened a William Hill Plus account to link up my shop sports terminal bets to my account knowing the bookies would likely be closed for Cheltenham and just wondered what craic was

Presumably when shops open you’ll want to de-link those accounts ?
You can bet on the Shop machines with your card, or with cash, so you have the choice how to use them.
If your WH account is restricted I presume that would impact your card and the link to that account, in that case you would use cash in the machines.
Yep, so I assume FaugheenTheMachine will want to remove the link when shops open so if/when his account gets restricted he is still able to use the machines without any restriction.
Apologies if this sounds basic or is indeed wrong but I have no idea how the shop machines work, I do intend however to find out soon...

You can put your WH Plus Card in the machine and bet through your WH account balance
OR
You can feed cash into the machine and bet anonymously.

Can just use cash whenever the shops reopen mate; this was purely incase I had any antepost winners and shops didn’t reopen for months afterwards, could get any winnings straight into online account to withdraw then

Yeah, my ignorance of the process was clear there.
I'm sure at some point they'll limit the amount you can throw in the machines just like they did the FOBTs so make hay before another idiot decides how you can run your life...
Somebody keeps an eye on those Hills machines. I've had them go blank on me twice. Then the cashier putting down the phone and saying all bets over the counter from now on.
