The cashouts on my NRNB bets have taken a hit now.
Looks that way... big plus for punters!

    Massive really.

Yep I posted months ago that firms should introduce two parallel markets, a regular market and a NRNB market and these should operate months in advance of the festival. It’s the kind of innovation that would revolutionise the ante post betting market. I was delighted to see Skybet introduce this and it looks like B365 are following suit. Now all we need is others to follow their lead and for this to be commonplace much earlier in the season.

it’s exactly the kind of innovation that is needed to reinvigorate the ante post market and for firms that offer it, enable them to move away from the administrative and likely labour intensive nature of cash out. Getting the timing right and the economics right are obviously key, but if done thoughtfully I can see this working both for the firms and a certain profile of punters too.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out and whether it gets any publicity.....this is where we miss Big Mac as this is something he’d champion on behalf of punters. There are others in the racing media that have a high profile without naming names, perhaps one of them is a lurker in here and take up the challenge

      • 365 NRNB and BOG all races.

        • As much as I like the option of two markets, I will miss the increased cash out you used to get when they'd go NRNB. Cashing and re-backing NRNB was a decent safety net, especially on roll ups. Maybe just me who used that though, since I get paranoid of NR's at this time of year.

Yeah, only went after decs as per any other race.

It's gone the other way this year. For some reason, the NRNB BOG markets for the Championship races (which have been live for a month or thereabouts) have been aligned with the antepost markets for the respective races which they have just put back up. So, for example, a bet I placed on Klassical Dream NRNB at 5/1 now has a lower cash out value because he is 6/1 in their antepost market.

Yeah before if you wanted the bigger price without NRNB you had to use only Hills

                          • The Championship races, that were already NRNB and BOG with 365, now are showing / linking to the outright ante post market for the races...

For example, I backed Honeysuckle at 4/6 NRNB BOG, but not if I click the hyperlink in that bet, it takes me to the outright ante post market where she's now 8/11.

Anyone think it's worth getting that clarified?

They seem to have done it to link it to the cash out valuation.

None of these bets prior to today now show that they are NRNB BOG, unlike all the bets placed today.
We should be ok, will just have to remember it.
