SPRINTER SACRE for me, the best chaser I have had the pleasure to see.
Cheltenham Festival RPR of 190 is way above the others Festival performances.

        Sprinter, for me.

2013 Champion Chase was amazing, but 2016 had me in bits, and the lads in the villa wondered what I was getting choked up about, lol.

I totally get the love for Sprinter Sacre, undoubtedly one of the greatest 2 milers of all time, I too remember witnessing the scenes after his second Champion Chase, a reception I hadn’t seen since Moscow Flyer, but I think people are getting carried away with the emotion around that victory as in addition to his previous Champion Chase and Arkle wins he was beaten in a Supreme and PU in Dodging Bullets’ race.
          3/5 at Cheltenham in March.
Extraordinary horse, but tasting defeat twice is enough to knock him off top spot for me...

As much as I love Sprinter and 2016 being probably the best NH moment for me, this is either Altior or Tiger Roll by the same distance Tiger Roll won last year. I'd give the nod to Altior for winning more prestigious and competitive races including one of the most stacked Supremes ever as well as winning a Queen Mother while hating every inch of the running and then grinding out a fantastic win to regain the title.

If no one else votes for Quevega.

I want another vote for Mares only.
Seems like the thing to do these days.

Or every vote for Quevega counts as 7.

I've gone 'other'. I almost went for Quevega but just give the nod to Vautour in terms of it being a subjective choice. Probably more for the JLT than the Ryanair just for the sheer joyousness of the round of jumping from a novice.

He was probably the best horse we've seen.
                    All three were spectacular wins.
                    Absolute bomber.

Think its quite obvious who i voted for.

I was there for his Arkle and he was simply superb. The first champion chase was breathtaking how easy he done it.
The 2nd champion chase is the greatest moment in racing for me. I understand it wont be for others, but i know for a fact i wont love another horse like him so i'll never feel the high again of that day. The dodging bullets champion chase just marks up his 2nd champion chase for me as it shows how much they had to build back Sprinter up after his heart troubles. He beat UDS at his peak while Altior has been beating him at the tail end of his career (not knocking Altior just showing how good that Sprinter comeback was).

My wife got me a stable tour of Nicky hendersons one Christmas (we knew a work rider at the time). Getting to lead Altior out of his barn for work after Nico (who was brilliant with me) got him ready is something that will live long in my memory.

Who is voting for Tiger Roll??

Won the worst Triumph I have seen - without googling can anyone name two other runners in that race??
He won a very average the 4 miler.....because Edwulf collapsed.
Has since won a couple of egg and spoon races at Cheltenham.

Hardly the Cheltenham horse of the decade......imo.

Cue card turned up at 7 Cheltenham festivals.

If you look through his form, he really has taken on all comers, across all distances and divisions, and has an unbelievable resume on the whole. Going on from a champion bumper win in 2010. You wont find a single horse in the last ten years with better names on his record.

So may others been cherry picked. And stuck over the same discipline and trip.

Opinions on this are going to be highly subjective and based on a multitude of factors. I voted for Tiger, absolute no brainer for me. Tiger has filled my pockets on multiple occasions winning at 16/1, 10/1 & 4/1. The combination of getting it right (twice when it wasn't obvious), combined with the money, combined with celebrating with some of my closest mates at Cheltenham when we're all on, collectively makes him my Cheltenham horse of the decade.

                                Great question

There’d be a fag paper between Altior and Sprinter Sacre for the best
But my favourite Cheltenham of the decade... easy

Special Tiara- the one thing you’d bet your rent on was him to be leading at the first fence, think he did 5 festivals and ran against some class horses as well
