The prospect of that is very exciting and given Trainer won it last year etc...Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.

Would CS keep the same mark if he was to bounce out and win on the weekend (137) , or would he need to not win to keep a modest mark for the PP GP - from the entries on the weekend do we have any idea what is likely intention may be, I note two are handicaps and one isnt... does that have any bearing?

Outside of some Festival races, there’s not many handicaps that I’d want a market to bet in where there are no entries yet.

NOTICE TO TRAINERS - PERTEMPS FINAL H'CAP HURDLE AT CHELTENHAM FESTIVAL 2022
Trainers are strongly advised to note that the only 2 qualifying races held in Ireland for the Final of the above race will be at Punchestown on Sunday 14 November and at Leopardstown on Tuesday 28 December. There will no qualifiers held in Ireland in 2022 (there used to be one held at Punchestown in mid-February).
Maybe this is why Gordon started early qualifying tullybeg at the weekend

Saxon Warrior is a handicap guru and can no doubt confirm...

The French ones seems to have stopped a while back and the Irish just have two.
The Punchestown February one has now been moved to Sunday 14th November.
That puts a spanner in any plans to run a novice like Delta Work late on in Ireland, they would have to travel to Britain in the late flurry of February qualifiers instead.

Not sure where to put this but a very nice jumping performance from Ashton Lad earlier. Barely put a foot wrong and winged the last when needed for Harry and went on to win fairly comfortably. Not sure if hes a graded horse but maybe one to track for the chase handicaps. I had him added at 20/1 with Hills any race

Skybet have priced up quite a few horses for specific races in their RequestABets section.. Before Midnight for Grand Annual, Tullybeg Pertemps, Zanahiyr Coral Cup, Cappucimix Grand Annual amongst others - might be worth a look for anyone who may want an early handicap bet.
Coral have a Pertemps market only including qualifiers at the moment as well.
