"Aspire Tower ran really well in the Champion Hurdle and he seems to be in good form," said De Bromhead. "We haven't made any decision on him for next season but I'd imagine he might stay over hurdles, we'll see."

Big sound out and last call to any one who has not backed but is thinking of backing Galliard Du Mensil . Virtual walkover today so no doubt he'll be cut accordingly when he wins . Still a massive 33/1 with B365 for the RSA and a huge 25/1 with Hills for the Marsh. Happy Days !

Just seen in my emails an alert from sporting life tracker that Galopin Des Champs raced in France yesterday on the flat and trainer is now listed as S Lemetayer instead of Willie.
Sorry if iv missed it mentioned on here, Is this anything to be worried about or an error? Makes up quite alot of my antepost doubles/trebles etc be a bit of a blow to everyone no doubt if he had been moved back to France permanently.

First impressions are that neither 'our' Galopin Des Champs nor this version have any real distinguishing features, but the version we all know seems much darker in colour. Not easy to say for certain though, he never gets properly into the harness race so you don't get a proper look at him. Surely not though?!
Take a look for yourselves. Full replay didnt work for me but theres video of the finish which is around 1min long.
Find out the latest information about Galopin Des Champs including the next race, the latest horse race odds, previous wins, owner information and loads more from At The Races.

Mullins GDC - sire=Timos, dam=Manon Des Champs (details from racing post)
French GDC - site=ouragan de celland, dam=nony de picanes (details from above link)
Either GDC had foster parents at some point or it's a different horse.
Scary as I have the proper GDC in a shit ton of multis for next march!
