Might not be very useful from a betting perspective but would be very interesting if they made the size of horses public knowledge at the start of the season.
I guess the counter argument is that horses coming back from their Summer breaks are a bit like us on New Years Day after December’s bingeing.
Greyhounds have their weight declared for each run so it wouldn’t be impossible to repeat this for horses…

Was thinking more their height than weight, be interesting to know just how much Shishkin has grow from season to season.
Henderson says they'll keep Champ and Chantry House apart this season (both JP horses). Do we think he means just races leading up to the fez or will one go GC and the other Ryanair?
I think they'll keep options open, but with the initial intention that they are both headed to the Gold Cup.
Did I read somewhere recently that Henderson didn't regard Chantry House as a King George type? Did anyone else see that or did I imagine it?
He's starting off in same race as Santini and Might Bite did in their first season in open company if that helps. Future Stars Chase Sandown over 3 miles mid November.

I think I heard that from the same source as you.
I'm unsure of any evidence the trainer thinks that though.
He has ran 8 times left handed, and only 1 time right handed when beaten at Ascot, so my thought was maybe he acts better left-handed.
However Nicky H said yesterday he goes to Sandown first time out.
So theres no issue the trainer knows of, for going right-handed, which brings Kempton (a track his trainer loves) right back into focus for Chantry House at Christmas.
Thanks guys. I have an antepost bet on Chantry House for the King George so all info is useful. If he's starting out at Sandown there will be an opportunity to get out of necessary.
Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.
